The Cave

Takes place in RTTE, season five, when Hiccup and Astrid are dating. It's an alternate version of Animal House. Requested by Hiccstrid_fan015

"Woo-hoo!" Astrid exclaimed, as she skidded down a snowy mountain on Stormfly, leaving a trail behind them.

"Oh well, that's very nice of them, isn't it, bud?" Hiccup told Toothless, as they came up behind them. "Let's give them a piece of reality." Hiccup leaned his hand down, grabbing the snow, and quickly formed a snowball. Coming up on her tail next to her, he threw the snowball at her and it hit her on her back.

"Wha- What the? Hiccup!" she exclaimed, looking behind her. "Oh, you're so getting it!"

Hiccup dug his hand in the snow again and threw another snowball at her, but this time, it hit the back of her head. Once it did, Hiccup flinched. "Uh-oh."

She immediately looked behind her at Hiccup. She groaned, and dipped her hand in the snow, creating a snowball. She did that a few more times, and combined the two. She turned around, and threw it at Hiccup.

"AH! What the-"

Hiccup got hit by the snowball, and it hit him straight in the face. "OW!"

"HAHA, that's what you get!" Astrid laughed and turned back around.

"Oh, is that how it is?" Hiccup asked, grinning. Hiccup grabbed more snow, collecting multiple snowballs, and after awhile, made one huge snowball. "Toothless, get me closer."

Toothless flew up closer, and went a little higher above Astrid.

"What are you doing?" she asked, rolling her eyes.

Hiccup then threw the snowball down on her.

"AHH! Hiccup!" she stopped flying, yielding, and in the process, because they were behind her, hit Hiccup and Toothless, smacking them. They all came crashing down to the ground, and skidded against the snow themselves. At that exact moment, a rumble was heard.

Once Astrid was able to stop by grabbing hold of a branch stuck in the snow, she spoke up. "Uh, Hiccup... what was that?" Astrid asked, with fear in her voice. She knew exactly what it was, but too afraid to admit it to herself.

Hiccup grabbed hold of Toothless leg and stopped himself, a couple feet down. "Uhh... I think that's an avalanche."

From the mountain behind them, an avalanche of snow began falling down, chasing after them. "That's not good!" Hiccup exclaimed.

The two got on their dragons, and Astrid and Stormfly flew to the air above. Hiccup looked behind him once he noticed he couldn't get up, and noticed the tail was frozen. "What?! Oh no!" he exclaimed, as he hurried over and tried to break the ice on it. After a few times, it still wouldn't budge.

"Hiccup! Hurry!" Astrid exclaimed, fear overtaking her body. She flew down and tried helping him, and once she did, it budged. But unfortunately, it was too late. The avalanche had caught up with them. Snow was thrust beneath them, and with great force, they were being pulled along down the hill.

"HICCUP!!" Astrid yelled, in the middle of trying to get level, as she saw her crush go under. She saw Toothless beside her and Stormfly behind, but no Hiccup. Where was he? Did something happen?

After what seemed like forever, but in reality only 10 seconds, Hiccup finally re-surfaced.

"Hiccup! Take my hand!" Astrid exclaimed, reaching her hand over.

Hiccup looked over, and reached his hand out, but it didn't reach. Astrid swam over a little bit, and she was able to grasp his wrist. "I got you!"

Hiccup looked ahead of him to see a cave. "Astrid, there's a cave!"
