jungkook looked up from his phone, and paused his spotify - the song that was currently playing being champagne by lia marie johnson. a song he had only just discovered but already loved.
"doesn't seem like the articles have affected you too much - since you're sitting there, phone in hand but still smiling," rm said with a smile throwing himself down on the couch beside jungkook, wrapping his arms around the younger. jungkook hadnt even realized that he had been smiling before namjoon mentioned it.
"yeah well, it's not like what they said about me was that bad," jungkook mumbled softly, he had freaked out when he first saw the pictures, but no location had been mentioned - and it wasn't like they had roasted him completely and mentioned every bad thing he had ever done in the different articles that he had read - so it was okay, he was okay.
"so what were you doing with me boyfriend?" rm asked, pulling jungjook down on the couch with him so their cuddles would be more comfortable.
"just ran into him, and then we talked a bit. he's nice. i like him," jungkook said softly, he rarely ever liked anyone anymore. he would literally watch random people on the street and decide to hate them. for nothing.
"i'm glad you do, i wouldn't stay with him if you didn't," rm responded, speaking one hundred percent truthfully, he loved jin more than anything - but jungkook would always be his family. and if jungkook didn't like whoever he was talking to, rm couldn't be with them, jungkook's opinion mattered far too much for that.
but then again, if jungkook didn't like his boyfriend - or close friends, there would definitely have to be something off, something that rm didn't know - there had to be, if jungkook went out of his way to hate on someone who made namjoon happy? there was definitely something off about them.
