jungkook didn't answer, he couldn't. tae had suddenly come too close to stepping through his barrier that he kept around to protect himself from the world - and the cruelness hidden in it. he felt the way the heat in his cheeks increased - and the thumping of his heartbeat behind his chest. it was too much - he couldn't get close to tae like that. it was all too much.

jungkook cringed as his head started hurting - his thoughts taking over, his heartbeat being the only sound he was able to hear - completely drowning out every other sound. jungkook fell to the floor in his bedroom, his back being against his bed as he tried to get control over his breathing with not much luck.

pain. he was in so much pain, and he had no idea of how to escape it.
