Hey it me again, I'm gonna be honest I've been in a bad place mentally and but here anthor part. Sorry I'm lazy. I hope you have a fantastic day! Remember you are loved and important. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need to vent. Bye, I hope you enjoy the story!

Danny's POV

I awoke to the annoying sound of my phone's alarm that I had forgotten to turn off. I grabbed my phone and swiped the screen so it would shut up. I whipped the sleep from my eyes and saw that Laura had texted me about 45 minutes ago. Her message said, "I'm leaving for work now, I hope you have a good day. I love you."

I replied with. "Have a good day, love you."

And then I felt a wave of guilt when I realized Drew took on all of my shit on to himself. I grabbed clean clothes from my suitcase and put them on. I put my phone in my pocket and went to the kitchen where Drew was. He looked like he had been up for a while. He was reading something on his phone. "Hey, Drew?"

"Yeah." he turned off his phone and set it face down on the table.

"Thank you, for taking on all of my shit like that."

"Yeah of course." I went over to one of the cabinets and tried to grab a cup with my hurt arm. "Ahh!" It hurt so badly to lift it. The glass slipped out of my hand and Shattered. Fuck. Drew was right, maybe I do need to go to a doctor. That's bad. I can't even hold an empty glass. "Danny! What happened? Are you ok?" The real answer to that was no I'm not okay I just feel so alone, but what I said was, "I'm fine, I just accidentally dropped a cup. Sorry." I backed up from the cabinet and took a seat across from Drew at the table.

"Danny, It's not about the cup. If you can't hold an empty glass I think there's a problem." I hated that Drew was right. I knew that I needed help, not just my arm. I really do want help yet... "Drew, I'm fine. There's not a problem." Many thoughts swarmed in my head as I said that some thoughts were: good job idiot, others were: well that was your chance to get help looks like you blew any chance at getting better. I could tell Drew didn't buy it for a second, "Alright, can you help me clean up?" He said while standing up and walking to the pantry to grab a broom.

"Sure." I walked over to the spot where the glass had broken and I began to pick up the bigger pieces. Drew came back with a broom and a trash bag I put the pile of pieces I collected in. Then I held the bag open so Drew could dump the dustpan full of little shards of glass. "Alright, I'm going to throw this away." Drew went outside to the garbage can through the garage. I went back to the table and sat down.

Drews POV

I want to help Danny but I have no clue how to. If we were kids I could just go to the teacher and tell them what was happening, but we're adults and there's no one I can just give a problem to. I guess I just need to be here for Danny. I know that's what he would do for me. Maybe we should do something to get out of the house. There's a cool area to hike where there's rarely anyone there. I went back inside to propose my idea to Danny. I saw him sitting at the table and I went to the sink to wash my hands. "I have an idea, there is a cool place to hike. About half an hour away. And I've never seen anyone else there, do you want to go today? After we eat." Danny turned to look at me then.

"Sure, that would be nice." I couldn't tell if he did want to go or if he was just saying that to make me think he was fine. Either way, It would be a distraction to buy me a little time to think about how I could get him help. "Great. What should I make for breakfast?"

"I don't care."

"How about toaster waffles since I can't cook?"

Danny laughed a little then said, "Sure."
