Drew's POV
"Ok, now we follow that little trail, and then we made it to the waterfall." I told Danny
"Alright let's do it."
"We do have to be careful it can be a bit slippery."
"Okay."
We started walking down the trail. "Oops." I heard Danny say
"What? Is everything okay? Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine don't worry, my shoe is just untied. And I don't want to fall."
"Oh, okay."
We finished making it down to the waterfall, Danny was looking up at the water and I sat down on a log. I rubbed the back of my neck. I just want him to get better. A minute or so later he sat down next to me. "Drew is- umm are you okay."
I don't want him to be worried about me. I mean I'm still in shock but- I just want the old Danny back, the happy Danny. "Yeah I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know you just look not yourself."
"I'm fine, don't worry about me. But are you sure your arm is ok?" I said that for one of two reasons. One, he was holding on to his arm as if it hurt. Two, I needed to change the subject.
He quickly let his arm, "Um...Yeah, it's completely fine."
"Are you sure that's the truth?"
"I mean I guess it hurts a bit."
"Maybe we should head back to my house so I can clea-."
"Drew I'm ok you don't need to treat me like a baby." Shit. He was right. I am treating him like a baby. I'm not trying to but it's just I don't want him to get more hurt because he doesn't deserve that.
"Sorry I just...don't want you to get hurt anymore."
"You don't need to worry about me."
"I can't do that, you're important to me."
