Jihyun opened her eyes at the sudden sound of her bedroom opening, being deeply confused as to how and when did she get there. At first she didn't pay attention to Jaemin who had walked into the room until he spoke. "Oh, good! You're awake."

"How long did I sleep?"

Jaemin hummed as he thought, placing the tray of food he was holding on top of Jihyun's night stand next to her bed and sitting on her bed. "Not that much. It's 4 pm right now, don't worry. You could've slept more. Thank God you're awake though, I didn't want to wake you up, you seemed so comfortable," he scrunched his nose at her as he baby talked.

"Why are you here?"

"You seemed you needed to sleep so badly, but we couldn't just leave you here alone," Jaemin noted, checking the girl's temperature. "We tried waking you up to tell you we took you here but you wouldn't wake up. Guess your body was just too tired. She's awake!" The last sentence was louder, calling for the other people in the house.

Jihyun's mind still tried to process what was going on as her eyes darted from Jaemin to the people rushing to her room. Then she caught glance of Jeno, who peeked in before walking in, followed by Renjun, who was quick to make a remark about her. "At least you don't look dead anymore."

"I don't feel dead," she gave him a faint smile. Jaemin's motherly instinct to take care of people would have him stay in Jihyun's house until she got better so there was no point in arguing with him.

However, Jaemin stood up and eyed Jeno standing next to him. "She has a slight fever, maybe we can get some medicine. Can you drive me there?"

"Why don't you drive yourself there?" Jeno snapped back, not really wanting to step into the coldness of January again.

"Because you're the only one in this room with a driver license, now stop bitching and let's go," he pushed the older out of the room, leaving the Chinese boy standing there, giving them an uncertain look. "Renjun, could you watch her while we're gone?"

The mentioned gave a nod and bid them goodbye as they stepped out of the room. Somehow, Jihyun had a feeling that this whole thing was a plan of theirs, though she tried to ignore it.

Renjun sat on the same spot Jaemin had before and eyed the food displayed in the tray. It had some hot rice porridge and a glass of water besides some fruit that Jaemin himself had cut into small pieces. "They seem to care for you a lot," he mumbled, finally looking from the tray and into the girl's eyes.

"Nana smothers everyone in love, so watch your back," Jihyun joked, making the boy give a silent giggle in response. "Just wait until you two get closer, you'll want to push him away."

"Is he really that clingy?" he asked, handling the girl the bowl of porridge as she sat up, receiving a small 'thank you' in return.

As she grabbed the spoon, she let out a sigh as she rolled her eyes. "You have no idea."

He smiled at her and as she took a spoonful of her food into her mouth, he spoke once more. "Don't you ever get tired of it?"

"Well, sometimes, yeah," Jihyun said after swallowing her food. "But I prefer enduring it than making him feel sad and unwanted, you know?" Renjun gave her an understanding nod in response. She took the glass of water and drank most of it, leaving enough water in the glass for the medicine Jaemin and Jeno were going to bring. Renjun lied down on the bed, looking tiredly at the ceiling. "How was school today?"

"Good, I guess," the boy replied, blinking slowly, feeling how his eyes burned a little and tears welled in his eyes out of tiredness. "I mean, Xinghua had to push a lot of people away from me. She was quite mad by the end of the day."
