"This isn't what I had in mind." Renjun said as Haechan spun the wheel.

"Oh, come on, Renjun. Don't be a party pooper," the tanner boy called. "Now, right foot on blue."

Renjun eyed the rug before sighing and tilting his head back annoyedly. "Excuse me, missy," he voiced lowly. The girl, who was nearly on her knees bending down to the front, moved her arm enough for Renjun to be able to reach where he needed to. Both of them were very careful not to touch each other to avoid collapsing and losing.

This was a partner thing obviously. Specially made that way by Haechan's rules. He was having so much fun this round. "Alright. Jihyun, left hand, yellow dot."

"Move your fucking shoulder before I eradicate you," Jihyun expressed and Renjun obliged between laughter. Trying to reach out to where she needed, she started losing her balance and in an involuntary attempt to steady herself, her free hand touched Renjun's ear for a split second. But it was enough to send a spark through both of their bodies, making them flinch at the sudden sensation.

For a second none of them moved or uttered a word. Unknown to the very confused and shocked Jihyun, Renjun's face turned pinkish from the overwhelming nervousness. He didn't understand what just happened and was scared to find out.

Jihyun looked up at Xinghua, then back down. Haechan noticed their expressions fighting back a smile as he nagged, "hurry up! We don't have all night!"

"Right." The girl eyed her own hand, expecting to find a splinter or other explanation to why a slight touch caused her that weird feeling. "Right," she repeated. She tried to reach out once more, this time much more carefully. Renjun didn't dare turn around, but his body tensed and he was unaware he had stopped breathing as her hand moved so close to him.

At last, she reached to the yellow dot. After making sure she wasn't going to fall over, Haechan spun the wheel another time. "Renjun-ie~" he called.

"Just say it so we can get this over with, my legs feel like they're about to give in." And certainly so, his legs were starting to tremble. But not because of tiredness.

"Fine. Right hand, yellow dot."

Renjun turned his head around trying to find an easier way out of it, but he failed. The nearest yellow dot on his right side was too far for him to reach without collapsing. "Well, fuck," he uttered as he started to turn his whole body around without moving his feet or left hand. Jihyun's hair brushing by his face as he did so, sending tiny but noticeable sparks of something once more. It was giving him tickles and his eyes got watery because of it.

He didn't look up to her not even once until he finally reached to that yellow spot. Their hands only around 10 inches apart. Their faces, much closer. When their eyes met, Jihyun offered him a smile despite her entire body aching. "You look even smaller like this."

"Oh, shut up. You should've tied your hair, it's tickling my face."

"Oh, you mean this?" The girl played, moving her head slightly and causing her hair to keep brushing against him. For her, the weird sensation wasn't that noticeable through her hair. But Renjun's face was sensitive and often ticklish, which only made this be an even weirder experience.

"Stop it!"

Jihyun laughed at his expression but nonetheless stopped. Unknown to both of them, Haechan was signaling Jaemin to do something. It wasn't until they heard Jaemin's voice that they reacted. "Ah, Jeno-ya!" he said in a faked concerned tone as he approached the older. "Stop drinking that much, it's not good for your health!"

Jeno was confused at first of such accusations, then he noticed Haechan's cold stare from the distance and played along. "Don't tell me what to do, I'm an adult too!" He slightly pushed the other a few centimeters back.

"Nice. Now push me harder in their direction," Jaemin whispered as he approached him once more. Then, in a much louder voice, he said, "Yoosung will be upset if you keep drinking this much! No more for tonight!"

"Get away!" Jeno pushed him, harder this time as he got instructed. The other fell back and while doing so, he hit Jihyun's already weak arm and she fell as well.

Right afterwards, everyone stood up to 'keep the two boys from fighting.' The room was suddenly filled with too much noise, but neither Renjun or Jihyun listened. They were overwhelmed by the strange sensation once more and for a solid second, they were so close to each other they could almost hear each other's heartbeats as clear as day.

"Stand up," Renjun ordered, looking at her in panic.

"Uh-huh," Jihyun complied and quickly moved her body away. "I'm sorry."

Haechan clapped his hands together to get their attention as he spoke. "I'm so sorry, you two, but Jaemin made you lose."

"I-It's fine, really. I don't think my arms could've gone much longer either way," Jihyun tried to laugh off.

"Well, that officially makes Hyejin and Mark the winners," Ryoko announced and the two mentioned cheer and high fived each other. "You can go prepare to sleep now, people. Hyuck and I will leave once I finish cleaning the kitchen."

"Oh, let me help you!" Jihyun quickly volunteered in an attempt to get away from Renjun as quickly as possible, still not processing what had just happened.

Ryoko was taken aback for a moment but nodded and they walked to the kitchen together. Haechan held out his hand to Renjun, who was still on the floor. "Get up before I hit you with a hard cover book."

The boy took his hand to help himself up and was met with the other's disappointed expression. "What did I do now?"

"More like what didn't you do?"

"What do you mean?"

The other expressed his disbelief with a groan as he stood up and cleaned his attire. "It was a perfect moment for you to kiss."

"No the fuck it wasn't. Are you on drugs?"

"You could've at least said something to her," Haechan mentioned in a mother-like nagging tone.

"I did. I told her to stand up." He explained before making his way to his room, being followed by the other.

The taller shook his head and rolled his eyes. "You can't be this dumb, you got to be faking it. It's so frustrating how you keep denying it despite being so obvious."

The other sighed tiredly. "I don't get what you mean. Haven't I told you I'm not interested in dating?"

"Renjun, please," voiced the Korean, not done expressing his frustration. "You can't tell me you didn't feel anything."

"Feel that soulmate shit or whatever?" Renjun was starting to get upset as his tone rose and became harsher. "Yeah. I felt it. It was horribly weird. My heart felt like it was about to die."

Haechan paused for a second before asking, "it did?"

"I don't know what kind of fuckery was that but I swear to God it nearly exploded. Don't ever make that happen again, I know you were behind it."

The younger gave a silent laugh before they reached the Chinese's room. "I assure you I have no control over your soulmate things. But even so, there is no way that the healing process would have done that to you."

"What does that even mean?"

"Renjun. It's a healing process, not a destructing one," explained Haechan. "It would not have caused your heart to be on the edge of a heart attack."

"So that means-?"

"So that means," he made a dramatic pause as he gave the older a teasing smirk, "someone's developing feelings for Jihyun."
