New Girl

"She is on her way. You guys better be nice" Veronica says butting Jughead in the arm.

Veronica's sister, y/n lodge, is moving to Riverdale from New York. Jughead deep into the novel of Jason blossom, doesn't care. His fingers banging on the keyboard Veronica says, "Jughead Jones. Close your laptop and listen to us, or I will personally throw it in Sweetwater River." Jughead scoffs and dismisses it, he doesn't give one shit about her threats.

"Your sister sounds great!" Kevin says. "Yeah from what you told us she sounds like she is from heaven" Betty says agreeing to Kevin.

"Well, she isn't. I only told you guys about the sweet stuff she does. But, she is actually kind of a bad girl." Veronica says. "What do you mean a bad girl?" Archie asks her. "She has a small criminal record. Mostly for stupid things like causing fights and stuff like that. But, she can be nice" Veronica says back.

"Oh! Oh! Oh! She just texted me that she is here!" Veronica squeals fixing her self. She applies a coat of lipstick before the bell on the door rings. They look up and there you are. You look around before locking eyes with Veronica.

"Heyy!" She yells standing up. "Hey" you say say back in a 'dont talk to me' kind of voice. Veronica hugs you and grabs your arm to the group. "Everyone that is my sister, y/n!" She says pointing to you. "Hi" you say in that same voice. Archie stands up and says, "dang V, you didn't tell me she was hot" Veronica butts him in the arm and widens her eyes at him. He backs up and puts his hand up pleading mercy in a playful way. "I have to agree, you are beautiful" Kevin says. You smile at him. "Thanks" you say. Betty smiles at you. Veronica introduces everyone nd sits down as you lean against the table.

Jughead looks at you and his eyes widen. A spark of electricity goes threw his body and everything looks in slow-mo to him. You push your hair back behind your ear and Jughead swallows a lump in his throat. "I'll go get us some food" you say walking to the counter. Betty looks at jughead, "what are you thinking about? You have a flustered look on your face" she says. "Yeah you look kinda embarrassed" Archie says agreeing to Betty. Jughead dismisses and goes back to typing.

"Alright, 6 milkshakes and 6 fries." You say setting the tray down. Everyone grabs one. You sit next to Jughead. "So how's life?" Veronica asks taking a sip of her strawberry shake. "I don't know. Everyone in that school sucks. Luckily I'm coming to this one" you say in reply while smiling. You can feel jughead glancing at you every now and then. You notice his hands bouncing on the keys on his laptop. You skootch over next to him and put your hand on his arm as you start to read his story. "Wow- what's it about?" You ask. "Uh- Jason Blossoms death." He says. "Oh-" you say as you read some more. "Wow- that is really great!" You say looking at him. "You should publish that" you laugh. He smiles. He starts to ask you some questions about you and who you were in New York. Then he closes his laptop.

"Lord, god of Sheriff Keller's son what just happened!?" Kevin says sitting up. You raise your brow. "Whenever jughead is writing, no matter what we say he never shuts his computer. Its like he moves to another planet when he looks at that screen" Archie says chuckling. "yeah, you my friend have just made history" Betty replies and laughs. Jughead takes a fry trying to dismiss every tease they say. You smile.
"Well I gotta get going, I intend to she up on time for school just this time" you say getting up with a smile. Veronica gets up too. You start to walk to the door and Jughead follows you. Veronica talks to Archie about something as jughead tapes your shoulder. "I uh- do you want a tour of the school tomorrow?" He asks blushing. You smile and scoff. "Uh- sure, yeah. Id love too!" You say back to him. He smile and you walk out the door. Veronica follows you and says, "oooooh" as she gets into the car. You glance at jughead threw Pop's Diner window. He is still smiling and looking at you. You lock eyes with him and then get into the car and drive off.
