You, Jughead, and Archie get off the train. You walk away as the train horn blows and leaves. Jughead takes a picture of the view and continues to walk. You guys stop somewhere to rest and you call Betty. "Hi this is Betty, leave a message" the voicemail box says. "Hey Betty. It's me. Again. I'm starting to think your mad at me and I'm kind of worried. We're looking for a place to settle down I'll let you know if we do. Okay uh- I guess I'll try you again later and you won't pick up again. Bye" You sigh and hang up the phone. "Still no answer?" Archie asks. "Nope." You say picking up your bag. "Look, guys, maybe you should go back. I'm fine" he says. "Absolutely not red. You can't go five minutes without getting kidnapped or getting the crap beat out of you. And why would I miss this amazing opportunity to tell you embarrassing stories about me and Veronica when we were little?" You ask. He stands up. You put your arm around him. "See, when we were like, I don't know 10? Me and Veronica went on a talent show. We performed the 'peppa pig' theme song with pig costumes on. And that's not the worst part. A baby in the crowd screamed and cried and for some reason it triggered one of my seizures. And while I was having my famous seizure, Veronica got so scared she peed her pants and froze." You say laughing. "She did that?" Archie asks. "Yeah. Your girlfriend did that. That was a year before I became a badass" you say taking your arm off Archie. They both chuckle. "I'm legs are so tired." You say. Archie gets you and looks ahead. "Ow what the hell red? That was my boob." You state. "Don't be touching m6 girls boobs." Jughead says. You both look ahead. There sits a ranch and a barn. "Come on guys, we have to bunk somewhere." Archie says walking toward it. "I feel like we are walking into a supervillains mystery lab. So, let's do this." You say going after Archie. Jughead scoffs and follows you. You walk through the gates and past the barn. Then a gun cocks and you stop. "You're trespassing. Now, let's see you do a little turn, nice and slow" a girl says. You guys turn around. You take your bags off your shoulder and put them down with your hands up. A lady walks out behind the girl that holds a shotgun. "Who are you?" She asks. Archie is about to say your names when you interrupt. "I'm Mya, this is Cal, and Biff. We're from Centerville." You state. "I don't like liars. Shoot em' Gracie" the lady says. The girl beings the gun back up. "Whoa whoa wait. I'm pregnant. We are just looking for some food and water. We've been walking for days." you state. "Put the rifle down." The lady says. "I don't trust them." The girl replies. "do as I say" the lady demands. The girl lowers the rifle down. "I'm Laurie Lake, Thai is Gracie. You guys like stew?" The lady asks. "Yes, ma'am, anything you can spare." You say. She makes the stew. You all sit at a table the set up outside. You put some stew in your bowl and hand the pot to Archie. "So wheres everyone else?" You ask taking a bite of a biscuit. The girls look at you. "I meant, a farm this size I assumed there would be more people working it." You state. "A lot of the men in town are at a job down the river. Our father and our Brother went with them, but they come back every now and then. You guys want to stay the night?" She asks. "No we're okay." You say. "Yes." Archie says. "We shoud be getting out of your hair." You say. "No you can stay the night. If you don't mind sleeping in a barn." She says. "Nope we're good-" you begin. "That would be amazing. Is there anything we can do to repay you?" Archie asks. You put your head in your hand. Jughead clears his throat to try to stop him from talking. "there's some farm work. I have some bails of hay I need moved" she replies. "Just stay out of the main house." Gracie says. Archie smiles at her.

"Dude we can't stay here." You say. "It's one night, guys. What's the problem?" Archie asks. "I don't know. Something about this place makes me uneasy, or it gives me weird vibes. It creeps me out." You say sitting on the hay. "It's too American-Gothic, even go me. Y/n you right. Where is everybody?" Jughead asks. You shrug. "Right. It seemed like she was lying" you state. "You mean like we are, Mya?" Archie asks. Laurie walks in. "Am I interrupting?" She asks with blankets in her hand. "Ye-" you begin. "No. Come on in" Archie says. She walks toward you guys. "I brought some blankets in case you guys get cold. A nice think one for you, Mya. Since your pregnant" she says putting the blankets down. "thanks i appreciate it." You lie with a forced smile. Archie and Laurie stare at each other. "You guys flirting?" You ask. Laurie looks at you. "Im sorry it's uh- it's my sense of humor." You say. "right. See you tomorrow" she says walking out. "Goodnight" Archie says. "Red, you have your head stuck so far up that girls ass, it's unbelievable" you say grabbing the blanket. Archie takes his shoes off and lays down. "I totally agree" he says. You laugh and jughead lays down. You out the blanket over you and him and cuddle. "Goodnight, red" you say  "night." He replies. "Goodnight baby daddy." You whisper to jughead. He kisses your forehead. "Goodnight beautiful" he says. He rubs your stomach all night. Until you both fall asleep.
