You put the video tape into the video player. You and Jughead had watched it so you called Charles, Betty, Alice, and F.p to watch it too. "What is this?" Alice asks. "Fast forward." You demand. She does as told. "It's literally six hours of our house." You state. "Why would somebody do that? Film it and then leave the evidence on the front doorstep?" Alice asks. "To unsettle you. Let you know your being watched." Charles replies. "Yeah, but why a videotape? Why something so anachronistic?" Jughead asks. "Maybe it's just a prank." F.p suggests.

'if it was.. it was an elaborate one. Over the next few days, then weeks, more and more citizens of Riverdale record copies of similar tapes, footage of their houses being watched from across the street, for hours upon hours. No messages were included with the videos, which somehow made the whole thing even more disturbing,  so that by Halloween, the entire town was on edge. Who would get the next tape? What did they mean? Were they a warning or a  test? Who knew? All we know is that they won't stop coming.'

"Another one? Keep me updated." F.p says hanging up the phone. "Who was that?" You ask. "The Muggses also got a tape." F.p replies. "Ooh. I'll get over there and get an interview with them for tonight's broadcast. That's the frindge benefit of living with the Sheriff. I get the inside scoop before any other reporter." Alice says putting her hands on F.p's face. "Yuck." You and Betty both say. "Hey, y/n, is Jug still coming home for Halloween?" F.p asks. "Yeah, that's the plan. We're gonna hand out candy and watch scary movies with Betty." You state. "Oh! Why don't you invite your brother?" Alice asks. "Brother-in-law." You correct. "Charles doesn't know anyone in this town." Alice says. "Okay, well why is still in town?" Betty asks. "He's helping me with the tapes and a couple other cases." F.p says walking out. "It's the one good thing that came out of the nightmare. Brought the entire family back together." Alice says following him. "Except for Jughead, who's still at Stonewall Prep." Jellybean says. "And Polly who's in a facility being re-programmed." Betty butts in. "JB, what are you gonna do tomorrow? Trick or treating?" You ask. "No. I'm going to my friend's house to watch scary movies and eat candy we bought from the store." She replies. "Gotta get to school. Bye, JB, stay safe." You say leaving. Betty follows you and you get to school. You both get your stuff from your lockers and turn the hall. There stands the Black Hood and the Gargoyle King. You and Betty's jaw drops and you breath faster. "Hey, I thought I told you there would be no costumes on school property. Take off the masks." Mr. Honey says walking out. The kids do and you and Betty slow your breathing and take a different way to class. After class you all go to the lounge. "Y/n, Betty, are you two okay?" Veronica asks. "I'm not gonna lie, i'm a bit on edge this Halloween. I mean people are dressed up as the Black Hood and the Gargoyle King." Betty says. "And there are those damn videotapes. Wanna know what's even scarier than that? Last night me and Betty we're sleeping and we heard bed squeaking from F.p and Alice's room. I wanted to throw up." You state. They laugh. "I'm being serious. I just want Jughead to hurry his ass back here." You say. "I'm with you girls. Ever since my dad broke into the Pembrooke, I've been looking over my shoulder. And if the town's got a voyeur now." Veronica says. "What's up, guys. Who wants to TP Mr. Honeys office with me tomorrow night?" Reggie asks. "Dammit Reggie. Can we do it tonight? Jughead is coming and you know I can't miss an opportunity to throw toilet paper all over Me. Honey. He sucks." You say. "Yeah, we can do it tonight." He says. "Guy, it's senior year. We're seniors." Betty states. "Exactly. What's better than TPing the Principle? Oh, and I've got about 15 of those little stink bomb things we can throw in there too." You say hitting him on the shoulder. "Alright." He says sitting. "I'm in, guys." Kevin says. "Huh?" You both asks. "What? Kev, why?" Betty asks. "Honey gave me a week's detention for going to the bathroom without a hall pass." Kevin replies. "That's what I'm talking about, my man." You say high fiving him. "You, red. I just got some distressing news. You remember that crew that was working out the arcade? Dodger and his boys? He's still pissed that he got beat up and jumped by.." Mad Dog begins. "That vigilante." You say cutting him off. Veronica didn't know about how Archie jumped those guys. "Right. They're planning on wilding Halloween night, looking to bust some heads." Mad Dog says. "Dammit, the kids in the neighborhood will be sitting ducks. We got to do something." Archie says. "Yeah, I was thinking the same thing." Mad Dog says looking at you. "I'm TPing things. Why don't you keep the center open later than usual?" You ask. "Yeah, why don't you guys host a Halloween party at the community center? That'll keep the kids off the streets and out of harm's way. And don't worry about costumes. One of my gal pals in New York, Katy Keene, she goes to the High School of the Performing Arts and is an amazing designer. Let me see hat she can whip up for you two." Veronica says. "Yeah, sounds great." Archie replies.
