Build Up

'on the eve of the mayoral debate, as Archie Andrews goes door-to-door, he doesn't mention the murder of his classmate Midge Clump. Most people believe Midge was murdered by someone else, but not Archie. He was certain, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the black hood was back, as was his next door neighbor, Betty Cooper. Who had, in fact, laid her eyes on the Black Hood, and suspected he was much closer. Living at my very own trailer, was a special Y/n Jones. Recently known as Y/n Lodge, but refuses to keep the family name. With F.p fighting for custody, and the stress of trying to figure out what I need to do and tell her, her grades start to drop. So much bad has happened in this last week. Though more will come, I believe we all need a spark of light to shine on us. Even if it's to one person or even for a second.'

"Any word on Chic?" Jughead asks. "No, he hasn't called since I took him to the bus station. So who knows? Maybe he's gone for good." Betty replies. "Amen" you state. "The silver lining in the walls to all this Chic stuff over last couple of weeks is.. that's as bad as it gets, Betty" jughead says. "It can't get any worse. How could it?" You ask. "My dad could be the Black hood." Betty states. "Yeah, okay that would be worse." You reply with a chuckle. You give the umbrella to jughead and run in the rain. "What are you doing?" He asks. "Being my awesome self after all this un-awesome stuff we just went through!" You reply.

"Dear cousin you look harrowed, what is it?" Cheryl asks. "Cheryl, before you saw that video of your dad... shooting Jason... did you know that he was a murderer?" Betty asks. "Subconsciously yes, why do you ask?" Cheryl replies. "I think there's a chance that my dad.. that somehow... He might be the Black hood." Betty states. "Oh. Oh, Betty. I don't know. I've seen your pater sneak around Thistlehouse, he has all the stealth of a marshmello man." Cheryl says. "Cheryl, I don't want my dad to be a murderer. It would destroy our lives even more, but I don't know. I can't feel it in my bones." Betty's states. "If your coming to me for advice, fine. Let's get you to the po-po. Maybe this new sheriff has half a brain." Cheryl says. "No, no, not yet. I need to be sure before I involve anyone else." Betty replies."in that case, absorb my hard-learned advice. You need concrete proof, or a confession, or both. First step? Buy yourself time while you investigate. That means pretending everything is normal." Cheryl states. "Yeah well luckily, that's my specialty." Betty replies.

Meanwhile in the locker room
"It's that, no one is safe, anywhere. This town needs the Dark Circle. And this time we will have the new sheriffs support. No offense kev." Archie says. "None taken" Kevin replies. "guys, I gotta tell you something. The night of the show, Midge and I got into a fight backstage. Cause she admitted she was seeing someone else behind my back." Moose says. "Who?" Archie asks. "She let it slip that it was a Serpent." Moose replies. "What?" Reggie says. He kicks the bench and everything on it goes flying."I knew it! I knew it the second the stepped foot in this school!" Reggie yells. "moose, why didn't you say anything to us? Or my dad?" Kevin asks. "I didn't want to look like the jealous boyfriend and have people think that I-" moose answers. "We should talk to the new sheriff" Archie says. "Screw that! Some Serpent scumbag was doing Midge. We just gotta figure out which one." Reggie says.

"War Baby called my y/n and I from Shankshaw. Our old adversaries, the ghoulies, had been released. Word on the street is that they want Serpent blood. They're gunning for a rematch. They want war." Jughead says. The serpents surround you and him. The bulldogs bust in. "Which one of you scumbags was screwing Midge?" Reggie asks. "What the hell is going on?" You ask. "Was it you?" Reggie asks pointing to you. "Are you fucking serious?" You say chuckling. " Then I'm guessing it was you, Sweet Pea" Reggie continues. Sweet pea steps forward. "That's enough Reg." Archie Says. "Sweet pea back up" you say under your breath. "You ass. I didn't even know Midge." Sweat pea says sternly. "But yeah, I see why she didn't want fleas from you mangy bulldogs." You state. Reggie punches you and tried to do more but the rest of the Bulldogs hold him back. "Reggie no!" Archie yells. Jughead goes to go after him but you hold him back. "Jug, I'm ok. I'm ok" you say. He backs down.
