"Thanks." He says. "When I'm older, if your name isn't on the front of the most treading book, then I don't want it." You say with a smile.

"So me and your mother were planning on going to the lake house this weekend. But we had to cancel and I thought you guys could go." Your dad says to Archie and Veronica. You roll your eyes. "That would be great daddy!" Veronica says cheerful. "Why don't you invite y/n and Jughead? Make a real weekend out of it?" Your dad asks. You look up and they look at you. "That'd be fun!" Archie says. You standup and walk past them. "If hearing me moan nonstop in the other room is fun for you? Then yeah! I'll be there" you say with a big smile as your walk out the door. Your dad scoffs.

You go to Jugheads trailer and walk in. They are talking about new places to live. "Dad, we are gonna end up living on the wrong side of the tracks." Jughead says. "I am a soda jerk at Pop's jughead. We're not gonna be moving to the Pembrooke." F.p says. "We shouldn't have to live at all" you say. "No one in this trailer park should have to move. This is just Hiram Lodges vendetta against us." jughead says agreeing with you. "Speaking of the devil. My dad booked us the weekend with Veronica and Archie at a cabin by the lake. Like a double couples weekend or whatever" you say sitting down. Jughead nods and goes back to his conversation. "Look, he is planning something dad, something big and bad. I just.. I just have to figure out a different angle" he says.

You see Kevin talking to Moose. "Did you just make a move on moose goose over there?" You ask chuckling. "I tried. He asked me to third wheel on his date with midge." Kevin says. "Ooooh" you say squinting. You walk into the lounge to see jughead Veronica and Archie. "Quick disclosure, our chalet is a bit rustic, but it hase breathtaking views of the mountains, the water." Veronica says. "sound great. Considering I've never been there and this is the first time Hiram has ever even told me about this" you say opening a bag of chips. "Did you just call or dad Hiram?" Veronica asks. "Yeah. By now F.p treated me better than him I've been the daughter to our dad for 15, almost 16 years, and not ever and he understood my problems." You say. Archie nods. "As long as it's cool with your dad, I'll go." Jughead says. "He was actually the one who suggested it" you say. Jughead makes a surprised face. "Yeah I know." You reply. "Lets cue the dueling banjos" you say smiling. Archie makes a weird face. "What?" You ask. "It will also be a good chance for me to work on my novel." Jughead says. "Oh novel shnovel, the point of this luxury weekend is to relax and unplug" you say putting your hand on his leg. "Luxury and weekend? Two of my favorite words. So, where are we going and extravagant a wardrobe should I pack?" Cheryl asks walking in. "Sorry Cheryl it's kind of a romantic couples only weekend." Veronica states. "I see. Of course. My mistake. Well have fun with your romances." She says walking away. "Is romances a word?" You ask trying to get a chip from between your teeth out. Jughead chuckles. "What I'm being serious?" You ask.

"Look don't get me wrong I am thrilled you are up for this weekend away,  but why am I also slightly suspicious?" You ask jughead. "Possibly because ei need a new source of intel on my article on Hiram Lodge." He replies. You sigh. "I was thinking that could be Veronica. I mean you don't know what the business is or I would've asked you." He says. "Ok 1. Can you please not investigate my sister this weekend? She is really looking forward to it. And 2. This weekend me and you are gonna be making the bed squeak. So no laptop." You say. Betty burt's threw the doors and shuts them. "Every since that night, it's like Chic. Is. Everywhere. Can I come with you guys on your trip. I need an escape." She says. "Uh- talk to V." You say. She leaves and you sigh. When she is gone he turns to you and says, "i solemnly promise to behave myself. With writing, not in bed." You chuckle.
