"In-youp, wake up," In-youp heard his wife whispered, waking him up but since he was so tired with his schedule yesterday, he can't get his eyes to open. He just stirred from his sleep, plopping his stomach on their bed.
"You will be late for your schedule," Hee-soon said in a hushed tone of voice as he gently rocked her husband's shoulder but whatever she does, In-youp doesn't wake up. She has one resolution for this situation and she knows In-youp will wake up once he hears what she will say next.
"Oppa," she whispered to his ears. She knows In-youp can't resist it whenever she calls him oppa. He wanted her to call him sweetly like that since they were still younger and she only called him oppa after marrying him. "You have to wake up now, oppa."
With eyes still closed, In-youp smiled hearing that word from his wife. He turned to Hee-soon and opened one of his eyes. He flipped from his position and lovingly stared at his wife with his still sleepy eyes. He reached for her cheek and lightly rub his thumb on it. He loves doing it. He loves how his fingers rub on her soft skin. He sat up and pecked Hee-soon's lips before leaning his forehead on her shoulder.
"Good morning," he greeted in his husky morning voice. He kissed her shoulder then her cheeks before looking at her.
"You look so tired," Hee-soon said with worry as she cupped his cheeks. That made In-youp close his eyes and smile. He loves the sound of worry in her voice. "Do you want me to just call your manager and tell him to move your schedule?"
In-youp chuckled at her suggestion. "Let's not give the old man headache. I'm sure he had difficulty arranging my schedule. I'm awake now."
"Alright," Hee-soon sighed and stood up. "You already skipped breakfast so make sure to eat lunch. I'll just be in the kitchen and prepare your food." She was about to walk away when In-youp held her wrist. He sat at the edge of the sofa and pulled Hee-soon closer to him. He wrapped his arms around her body and rest his head on her stomach.
"I'm sorry," he whispered. He looks up at her and gave her an apologetic look. "I'm very busy these days and I do not have much time for you anymore. We didn't even have a proper honeymoon after our wedding."
Hee-soon run her fingers in In-youp's hair and propped her elbows on his shoulder. "You don't have to be sorry. I know how much you wanted to achieve your goal. I just wish you can take a break even just for several weeks. It worries me to see how tired you are."
In-youp smiled. He's so lucky to be married to his best friend who understands everything he wants and needs. "I'll make sure to clear my schedule after this drama," he assured her so that she won't worry anymore.
Hee-soon smiled and cupped his cheeks causing his face to be squished. She then leaned down and pecked his lips. She lets go of him after and walked to the door to prepare lunch for her husband.
"I love you." She heard In-youp shouted when she got out of their bedroom.
After their wedding, they have decided to stay in his apartment since it is more spacious than her apartment. They are planning to buy a house for their future but since In-youp is still busy, they decided to set aside looking for their home in the meantime. Hee-soon already saw this situation coming and she doesn't even feel a single ounce of regret marrying In-youp. He's been receiving loads of opportunities and it scares her to see her husband saying yes to all those opportunities because he wants to prove to everyone and himself that he can be a well-known actor beloved by many. It worries her that his body might not take how tiresome his work is.
Hee-soon started to cook lunch for both of them. She has to hurry because In-youp's manager will pick him up anytime soon. She is in the middle of placing the chopped tofu in the stew when she felt arms around her waist.
