"Cheers!" Mina shouted as she raised her glass, obviously already drunk. The three of them clanked their glasses. Hee-soon has high tolerance when it comes to alcohol however, she thinks she's starting to get drunk. Who wouldn't be? They have already been drinking several bottles of soju and beer in a Samgyupsal place.

Mina has been telling them funny stories and Hee-soon finds everything she says funny. She laughs at everything Mina says not just because of how funny her stories are but also because her words are already slurry from drinking too much.

On the other hand, Ji-hoon stares at Hee-soon, observing the girl's every action. He finds her smile attractive and he can't help to smile as well. He learned of her friendship with In-youp several months ago when he accidentally saw In-youp with her, together with other people who he assumed their friends, in a restaurant. He actually thought something was going on between them after seeing how sweet In-youp's action is towards the girl. He raged from anger upon seeing the guy happy after what he had done to his sister.

His sister told him that she is in a relationship with In-youp and that is the reason why she did not accept the offer of her company to work in America to be a model. She told him that she wanted to stay with In-youp. However, during the party he mentioned Hee-soon earlier, In-youp acts indifferently towards his sister. He doesn't get it as to why he attended the party if he insisted that nothing was going on between him and his sister. He saw them talking in one of the rooms of their house and he saw his sister crying. He decided not to meddle with their business but he wished that he had entered that room that night. A week after the party, while he was at work, his parents called him and informed him that his sister committed suicide. He still remembers until now how devastated his mother sounded over the phone. The reason for her suicide is unknown until this day for she did not leave any letter explaining why she did it. What stuck in Ji-hoo's mind is the scene of her talking to In-youp while crying and that is why he assumed that the reason for her suicide is because of In-youp. What also made him rage from anger is that the agency In-youp is under made sure to block all news about it.

So when he learned that the girl In-youp was with in that restaurant is working in their company, he immediately hired someone to check on her background. That is when he knew how close the two are. He also learned that his mother left him due to an accident and that Hee-soon and her family are now considered as In-youp's family. Upon seeing the pictures the man he hired sent him, he saw how close the two are to the point that someone will doubt if nothing is going on between them. If he will follow his guts, he can tell that In-youp has feelings for Hee-soon.

That is when he planned to be close to Hee-soon and eventually make her fall in love with him which for sure will break In-youp's heart. He will then tell her that In-youp was the cause of her sister's death and then he will dump her. She will then blame In-youp for everything and will not see him ever again. He knows what he is planning is somehow childish but if this means he can break the soul of the guy who caused the death of her sister then he'll be childish. However, as he spends time with Hee-soon more, he learned how nice the girl is and now he's starting to feel guilty. He also hates to admit it but he's starting to feel attracted to her.

"We are out of soju," Hee-soon said as she realized the bottle of soju she's pouring in her glass is now empty. "I'll just get another one." She was about to stand when Ji-hoon stopped her.

"You had enough," he said and took the bottle from her hand and placed it on the table again. "Both of you had enough," he chuckled after seeing how drunk Mina is.

"I'm not. She is," Hee-soon defended herself and pointed at Mina, however her words now start to be slurry as well. She was about to say more when she heard her phone ring. She fished her phone in her bag and she immediately smiles upon seeing who the caller is. That's how drunk she is now.
