Weeks have passed but both In-youp and Hee-soon never contacted each other. Hee-soon knows that In-youp was scared of what happened however, the reason as to why he wants to break up with her is unreasonable. Even though they stayed their relationship as friends, she will still risk her life if it only means saving In-youp.
"You've been spacing out all day," Hee-soon heard Mina said. She looks at the video she is editing and immediately changed the background music after noticing that the BGM doesn't match the scene. Since Hee-soon came back to work, more and more requests from different directors came to their department to edit their movies or drama.
"Why don't you give him a call already?" Ji-hoon said who is seating next to the two girls. He is helping them with editing the movie assigned to them since this movie is star-studded. Ji-hoon wants to make sure that this movie will not have any flaws.
"I'm sorry," Hee-soon apologized for her actions and focused on her work again. She can't help to think of In-youp and the fact that he still doesn't give her a call irritates her more.
"I'm serious though," Ji-hoon stopped from what he is doing and faced her. "One of you should already set your pride aside by now. I know it is the guy who should call first in this situation but I believe In-youp's reason is strong enough to say those words to you."
Since Hee-soon is now good friends with Ji-hoon, she told him about their conversation because she feels like she is being suffocated if she won't tell anyone about her situation. Mina also knows what happened. "He's being unreasonable," Hee-soon said as she focused her eyes on the big monitor for editing.
"No, he's not," Ji-hoon said which made Hee-soon look at her. "He loves you that much and that is the reason why he lets go of you." He said and Mina nodded her head in agreement. "He doesn't want anything to happen to you and when you almost died, it made him think that staying with him will make your life continuously be at risk."
"I couldn't agree more," Mina said. She keeps on nodding, showing Hee-soon that everything Ji-hoon said is true. "I also think that the pain he feels right now is twice the pain you are feeling."
Hee-soon looks at her phone as she contemplates dialing In-youp's number. She was not able to understand In-youp's feelings and what her friends said made her realize what In-youp is going through right now.
"Go and call him now," Mina said as she grabbed the phone in front of Hee-soon and gave it to her. "We'll just be outside," Mina said and grabbed Ji-hoon's wrist to make the guy stand from his seat.
"What? I want to hear their conversation," Ji-hoon protested but Mina pulled him out of the room. Hee-soon chuckled at how silly her friends are. She also feels thankful that she has friends like them. She dialed In-youp's number when Mina and Ji-hoon got out of the room.
"Oh, Hee-soon? In-youp is sleeping right now. He took a pain reliever earlier and I think that made him sleepy. He will wake up anytime soon. What made you call?" It was In-youp manager who answered.
"Pain reliever?" Hee-soon asked. She's starting to feel nervous after hearing that he took medicine for pain. "Is something wrong?"
"Did In-youp not tell you? He got into an accident while filming," the manager explained which made Hee-soon abruptly stand from her seat.
"What?!" Hee-soon feels like all air has been sucked out of her body. "What happened to him?"
"It was nothing serious. He--"
"What hospital is he admitted to?" Hee-soon asked, not giving the manager to explain what happened.
The manager gave her the name of the hospital. "It's a good thing you called. Please bring spare clothes for--" In-youp's manager was not able to finish what he is saying again when Hee-soon disconnected the call and hurriedly went out of the editing room.
