Rising Model Committed Suicide in Her Apartment A Week After Her Grand Birthday Celebration

Hee-soon scrolls down to read more about the article. She is now in her apartment and even though how hard she tried to sleep, she cannot. What she heard from Ji-hoo earlier kept bugging her mind. So she decided to turn her laptop on and research about A-yeong Lee.

August 2, 2018. A-yeong Lee, a rising model was reportedly seen dead in her apartment a week after the celebration of her 26th birthday. Forensics reported it was suicide and no one knows the reason behind it. The model was said to be a cheerful person and gaining so much love from her modeling career which is the reason why they were baffled as to why the model committed suicide.

Hee-soon reads so much article about Ji-hoon's sister and every article was not able to identify the reason behind the model's tragic suicide. She also tried searching A-yeong's name together with In-youp's name but no article popped out. What only appeared are tv shows where they were seen together. She opened one video and the show was about models turned actors. In-youp was known to start his career in modeling before turning into an actor.

"Ms. A-yeong," the host called the attention of the rising model. "You were offered to sign in a lot of acting agencies and we heard that you were still choosing."

"Yes, that's right," A-yeong answered sweetly.

"She had a nice smile and a sweet voice," Hee-soon said as she watches the video.

"We heard that one modeling agency from America offered you to start modeling under them but you refused. The agency you are under right now said that you wanted to start your acting career instead of pursuing modeling overseas. What made you decide to start acting?" The host asked and everybody anticipated her answer.

It did not escape Hee-soon's eyes how A-yeong glanced at In-youp before answering the question. The camera focused on In-youp and she also noticed how In-youp glanced at her.

"Well, whenever I see other actors acting, it also made me want to do it as well." She politely answered.

"Is that really the reason or is it because you are currently seeing an actor right now?" The host tried to fish for details but A-yeong just smiled at him.

"Look at that smile," the host reacted. "Are you really seeing an actor right now?"

"No," she said and waved her hand to deny the rumor. "I am not currently dating anyone."

The video ended with the host apologizing for starting a false rumor which made the audience laugh. Hee-soon scrolled down to check the comments and she wished she did not do it.

Hee-soon sighed and closed her laptop without turning it off. She feels dizzy with everything she is thinking right now. She's thinking if they really were in a relationship before. If so, she was wondering why In-youp did not tell her about it. It is not that In-youp is obliged to tell her everything but they promised not to keep any secrets from each other. She leaned her head on the headrest of her swivel chair and looked up at the ceiling when she heard her phone ring.

"Yes?" She lifelessly answered without even looking who the caller is.

"Are you already asleep?" Hee-soon sat straight up upon hearing the voice of the man she's been thinking of.

"No, I'm awake," she answered.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"Nothing," she said and bit her lower lip

"Why are you still awake? Can't sleep?" He asked again, obviously trying to start a conversation.

"Hmmm..." she hummed as an answer. Hearing the voice of the man who makes her heart flutter every time makes her want to be with him right now. "Are you done shooting for the day?"

"Not yet," he said and sighed. "I hope we can finish earlier than our schedule. I want to see you right now." In-youp quietly said. He needs to be careful so that no one can hear him especially his manager. He hasn't told his manager about them yet because he is scared he might be scolded.

Hee-soon combed her hair a little using her fingers and checked her face in the mirror placed on her table before clicking the video button. In-youp immediately clicked the accept button, excited to see his girlfriend's face.

"Hi," Hee-soon shyly waved her hand in front of her phone.

"Hi," In-youp answered with a smile. "This is bad."

"What is?" Hee-soon asked in confusion.

"Seeing your face makes me want to run to you and give you a hug right now," he said as he stares at her face. That made Hee-soon blush.

"Yah! You know I don't want cheesy stuff," she said as she tried to calm her fast-beating heart.

"Really? But your blushing face says differently," he teased. Hee-soon patted her cheeks with her hands.

"I... I drank one bottle of beer that is why my face is flushing," she reasoned out but In-youp did not buy it. He chuckled at how cute her girlfriend is.

"I like you, Hee-soon," he suddenly blurted out with made Hee-soon stare at him through her phone. They both stare at each other and a smile starts to form on both of their faces.

"All casts for Scene 9, gather up," the director shouted which made In-youp press the voice-only button.

"I need to go now. I'll call you again tomorrow," he said and ended the call. Hee-soon placed her phone on her table, still staring at it. She bent her knees up on the chair she's sitting on, bringing herself in a tuck position. She decided not to ask In-youp about A-yeong earlier after seeing how happy he is when they talked. She somehow feels fine after talking to In-youp. She decided to sleep since it is already in the middle of the night and she still has work tomorrow.
