3 days later....
"How the fuck am I supposed to do this?" Jariah asked confused looking over her social studies homework.
Kasani usually did the work for her but they weren't on talking terms.
Jariah sat in the kitchen at the table as Kasani walked in looking at her writing in her notebook.
Kasani felt bad for cheating on jariah and he wanted to apologize but he decided to give her space.
Jariah looked up making eye contact with Kasani and looking away back at her papers.
"Hey." Kasani said to her as she got up grabbing her stuff trying to leave the room and he grabbed her arm.
"I want to talk to you." He said and she shook her head.
"Well I don't want to talk to you." She said.

Kasani shook his head grabbing his keys and making his way to practice.

"Stupid ass nigga." Jariah mumbled as her phone rung.
She looked at the caller Id seeing Mariah and quickly answered.
"Hello?" Jariah asked as the facetime call connected.
"Hey." Mariah said smiling in the camera and jariah mugged her.
"That's all you got to say is hey? I been calling you for weeks Riah and you been avoiding me." Jariah said.
"Riri I been avoiding everybody." She said.
"I'm not everybody I'm your baby sister I've been going through hell you could've at least answered my calls." Jariah said.
"I know I'm sorry it's just been so much going on from Adrian dying to me and dad falling out it's a lot." She said.
"What do you mean you and dad falling out?" Jariah asked.
"I told him he wasn't my real dad and some more hurtful stuff." She said and jariah shook her head.
"Why would you say that Mariah?" Jariah asked.
"I was so upset about Adrian dying I don't know but I know I was wrong." Mariah said staring out of space.
"Look at it like this, me and Adrian been messing around since what? 10th grade I just graduated high school so that's about 7 years it wasn't going to be easy for me to let him go."
"People haven't been in my situation before but got so much shit to say, nobody can make you stop loving somebody you love." Mariah said as jariah thought about her and Kasani.
"How did the abuse start?" Jariah asked.
"The abuse started with petty arguments he'll get mad at me for talking to niggas it niggas trying talk to me it was insecure shit."
