Omniscient pov:
3 months later...
"So what do you think we're having a boy or a girl?" Ashley asked.
"I wish you was having an abortion." Kasani thought.
"It don't matter." He said sighing. He was just scared of telling his parents.
"Okay Miss Ashley I'm your doctor Today and I will be helping you and Mr cater here find out the gender of you guys baby." The doctor said frowning at her age.
She was 17 and Kasani was 18.
"Starting young huh?" The doctor asked and Kasani mugged her.
"Do it fucking matter? I got places to be put the jelly and shit on her stomach and use the spoon and mix it up." Kasani said.
"I apologize." She said as Ashley rolled her shirt over her stomach.
Without warning she put the gel on top of Ashley stomach and then grabbed the wand rushing the process.
She didn't like how he was speaking to her and she was thinking about telling them the wrong gender so they can buy stuff they don't even need.
But she decided against it since she could be out of work.
"There it is." She said and Ashley and Kasani squinted their eyes then looked at eachother.
Kasani sighed shaking his head and rubbing his hands down his face.
His first child was going to be a girl.
"We're having a girl She's going to be so cute." Ashley said smiling at Kasani who had a pissed facial expression.
"You having a girl I ain't claiming nothing until I get a dna test." He said and she stayed quiet in embarrassment.
"Well you can pick your ultra sounds up in the front and god bless." The doctor said wiping Ashley stomach then leaving out.
"Kasani you don't have to embarrass me like that I agreed to a test I know it's yours." She said sighing sitting up.
"How I know you ain't just trying to get back at Jariah?" He asked.
"I lost my virginity to you wayyyyy before you and jariah started dating."
"I'm not worried about her and I'm pretty sure she doesn't give a fuck about me."
"My baby is yours and if you want a dna test I respect that but don't try to embarrass me like I've been fucking hella niggas and framing you as the dad." She said.
"Whatever text me about the next appointment I got to figure some shit out." He said getting up and leaving out.
He was trying to be a dad right now, but if the baby was his he was going to take care of it.

"It's December 12th, I've missed her birthday, I've missed thanksgiving with her, and now I'm about to miss Christmas."
"Everyday I miss her as a person, how we would laugh and joke."
"How she would hug all over me and cuddle with me and how we took naps together."
"I missed how she smelt and when she use to play in my hair."
"Everyday I think of the last words we exchanged and I grow angrier by the minute."
"I don't know if she's safe, I don't know if she is depressed, I don't know anything about her where abouts."
"I tell everybody I hate her and don't care about her but it's far from that."
