"Who is it?" Jariah heard on the other side of the door as she stood holding her duffle bag on her shoulder.
"I said who is it." She heard again as the door opened.
"Hey big sister." Jariah said dropping her bag and hugging Mariah.
"Girl are you fucking crazy mom and dad are going insane looking for you." Mariah said pulling her little sister into her dorm room.
"I know, I just have a lot going on I can't be around none of them right now." Jariah said sitting in her sister couch.
"What happen?" Mariah asked confused.
"Well me and Kasani broke up and me and kori aren't bestfriends anymore." Jariah said.
"Why?" Mariah asked confused again.
"Kori found out about me dating Kasani and had a fit and Kasani doesn't want us dating to ruin his relationship with his brother." She said and Mariah nodded her head.
"Well we need to call mom and dad and let them know your safe." Mariah said picking up her phone.
"No, I don't need them looking for me, I'm going to crash here a few weeks then I'm goin g to go home." Jariah said.
"Jariah I have class, I have finals, I have a lot going on I can't be babysitting you." Mariah said.
"I didn't ask you to, I'm 17 I'll find something to do." Jariah said and Mariah sighed.
"You have 2 weeks to stay here that's it and that's all." Mariah said grabbing her purse.
"Where you about to go?" Jariah asked.
"To the mall, want to come?" Mariah asked and jariah nodded her head following her sister to her car.
"So how was your first heartbreak?" Mariah asked her little sister.
"What you mean?"
"How did you feel when you and Kasani broke up?"
"I mean I cried but then dad talked to m and I just stop giving a fuck." Jariah said.
"That's that Mya in you." Mariah said and they laughed.
It was true there mom just didn't give a fuck about anything.
"So your over Kasani?" Mariah asked.
"I wouldn't say I'm over him but I can talk about him without getting emotional." Jariah said.
"Riri you really got to get it together, you can't be running away when shit gets hard."
"You know how hard college is? I'm in my last year and I want to run home and just cuddle up next to mom while she tell me everything gone be okay but I can't."
"Your about to be an adult in less then two months you got to face shit head on."
"Running away from home not gone take away your problems because you have to go back and then your going to have a whole new set of problems with people wondering why you ran away."
"An not only that you have prom and graduation coming up I'm suppose to be coming home soon to see you walk across a stage."
"Your not supposed to be here going to the mall with me." Mariah said.
"Riah I get it damn." Jariah said letting out a deep breath and rolling her eyes.
