Omniscient pov:
2 weeks later......
Kasani sat in the living room as he waited for jariah to come over so he could talk to her.
He had been home for two weeks and seeing a physical therapist to help him gain strength back into his legs.
Since he got out the hospital he been a lot calmer and the situation with him, Kori, and her been on his mine heavy.
Jariah walked up to the front door making Kori walk down the stairs opening it and seeing her.
"Hey." She spoke and he walked away from the door leaving it open.
She stepped inside closing the door and walked inside into the living room seeing Kori sitting and watching a lifetime movie.
"Hey." She said smiling catching his attention and walking up to him trying to give him a kiss but he dodged it.
"I got to talk to you." He said and she frowned sitting on the couch next to his wheel chair.
He paused the tv sighing and looking at her as he rubbed his hands across his face blowing out a long breath.
"Well what is it?" She asked him looking around.
"Jariah i want you to know I appreciate you for helping me these past two weeks with this paralysis shit." He said and she nodded her head.
"It's no problem at all." She said smiling grabbing his hand and he looked down at it then back at her.
"But I don't think we gone work out." He said and her face went blank.
"What?" She asked letting his hand go.
"It's a lot of tension right now and the last thing I need to do is fall out with my brother over a female." He said and she shook her head.
"Kasani what tension?" She asked growing upset.
"Look you and my brother beefing and that's leaving me in the middle and shit."
"I can't be in the middle of nothing right now I got a lot of shit going on, I'm fucking paralyzed I don't need a relationship right now." He shrugged and she tilted her head.
"Alright." She said standing up and leaving the room making Kasani sigh.
He really liked Jariah but how his brother felt and his mental health meant more to him.

Jariah parked her car infront of her house getting out and going inside as tears fell down her face.
"Jariah what's wrong with you?" Her mom asked as she walked passed her on the stairs and went to her room slamming the door.
"What's wrong with her mcmad ass?" Her dad asked his wife and she shrugged.
"I don't know she just came in slamming doors and crying." Mya said shrugging.
"Where did she just come from?" Jeremy asked.
"I don't know, I didn't even know she left." Mya said walking upstairs towards her door.
"Wait let me talk to her you always do it." Jeremy said knocking on her door.
"Go away." Jariah chocked out and he frowned.
"Girl this ain't no motherfucking Disney movie you ain't Elsa open this damn door." Jeremy said shaking the knob.
