"Good neighbors, friends, and family, today we are gathered here to cherish and honor a man who had always been there for us, Mr. Gregory Rodriguez." The priest said "We want to thank him for everything he had done for our town, he saved so many lives and hugged too many orphans." he paused "And we are sure his son Christopher, will continue his journey after him."

Christopher nodded at him, everyone was gathered in the cemetery near Gregory's grave.
Amy was there too but Christopher hadn't seen her yet he was overwhelmed with the whole situation "And now, Christopher has some few words to say." Christopher walked towards him and took his place trying to stay calm and focused, he took a paper from his pocket and start reading the words.

"First I want to thank everyone who is here today." He paused and looked at the sky "I know I'm not his biological son, but he chose me to be by his side and to be called as his son." Christopher smiled.
"Other than the strict man that everyone knew, my father was different and kind, he was a hero." He took another breath and looked at the crowd that's when his eyes meet Amy's.

"No words could describe my respect and love for him, may his soul rest in peace." He ends up his speech and walked back to his place to continue the procedures.
"And I won't rest until I took their souls." He whispered to himself promising his father revenge, his head went back again facing Amy, a small smile appear on her face when he starts walking towards her.
"Christopher." She said in a low voice, he hugged her and his head rested on her shoulder "Thank you for being here." He whispered.
"Of course I will be here." She said, "It will get better, believe me."
He nodded at her "I have to go now to continue the ceremony, see you later."

It was along and rough morning for him, after he visited the families that were injured in the shouting and helped the victims, he paid for everything and for the other three funerals too.
Christopher felt like it was his fault and he will not rest until he found the gang who did that to his father!

Ethan was standing somewhere nearby just watching Gregory's funeral from a distance, he didn't want anyone to notice him there.
Ethan had a long history with the Rodriguez family! a history his mother didn't know about "Finally, you get what you deserved." He mumbled with a smirk on his face.
That's when he noticed Amy standing there "What the hell is she doing here?" He asked himself.

A long time ago, John Ethan's father used to work with Gregory they used to have a business together but it was illegal and nobody knew about it, in that time Ethan was only eight years old but he still remembered when his father took him out with him in some deals, he was too young to realize what it was about.
A few years later when Rodriguez adopted Christopher, his work starts getting bigger and his deals were going across the country but John wasn't helping that's why they broke the deal and they went in separate ways.

In the same year John Ethan's father got in an accident, he was riding his horse when a big truck hit him and the driver ran away leaving the truck behind.
But Ethan was sure it was Gregory who did it, he didn't want to believe anything else.
That's why he left Austin when he was too young and wanted to start in a new place, but he also couldn't forget or forgive Gregory and what he thinks he did to his father, but the truth was that it was only an accident and Gregory was innocent, he even attended John's funeral back then and helped Nicole as much as he could.

Sometimes things just go wrong if we didn't think and try to find the real answers.
