sir Xolo finally rests*(22)*

A day had passed since that intense battle . I was very happy but I had one more mission to do , which was to set my uncle Xolo, free as well.

When I defeated the queen mother , I got a vision, the vision was about how he died and where he was buried .

It was sad how a mother could do that to her own son, truly devastating. I walked out of the house and went straight to the forest I had first met my uncle .

I knew he would be there , since it had been a long time since i had seen him .

The trees around me rustled happily as I walked by and it made me happy . I finally reached the forest and as I had perceived .

Sir Xolo, sat there on a giant rock, looking very lonely . He was just staring at the rising sun , full of longing .

" Uncle Xolo" I called onto him, he turned his head and glanced at me then glanced back .

" Why are you here young prince?" He asked , formal as ever . " I have the truth you have been seeking" I replied .

" The truth about my death?" He asked, " yes" he nodded then suddenly he was infront of me .

I smiled at him sadly then began to narrate the story to him . " That night of your 22nd birthday, the queen mother drugged your food with a sleeping portion, when you were in a deep sleep at night, she came with Lolo's grandfather" I said taking a deep breath.

" They carried you deep into the forest and the queen mother chanted a spell to give herself and Lolo's grandfather , eternal youth and more power " I looked at him as I said that .

He blinked, " she was truly never meant to be a mother" he said sadly. I sighed sadly then continued.

" After chanting her spell , she took a knife and pierced your body right in the heart and she took out your still beating heart and burned it" I truly lamented on how a mother could be so cruel.

" Your body was buried here in this forest , the place next to the rock that is growing flowers is your grave, here in this forest is where you took your last breath".

I looked at him seriously after I said that, " I'll ask you this , do you with to be left in this forest or should I take your remains home?" He looked at me and smiled .

" Young nephew, thank you for telling me the truth , now my soul can finally rest , as for your question, the answer is very simply, I want to be one with nature so I'll stay here , it's peaceful" .

I nodded and we both looked at the rising sun, without saying a word, after the sun had finally risen , I looked beside me and he was gone .

A cool breeze blew softly and I smiled , he was finally at peace . I walked back to the village with a light heart , on my way I met the villagers , they were still weary of me but at least they did not mock me .

They greeted me politely and I nodded . Finally I arrived at home, only to meet Lolo, at the front gate of our yard .

The moment our eyes met he smiled brightly , I knew he was worried about me.

" How is my princess today?" I asked kissing him softly . " I'm fine , where were you?" He questioned while blushing .

" I went to set sir Xolo, free " Lolo, nodded then took my hand . We both walked to the dinning room .

We heard my mother and aunt talking and my aunt was being mischievous again .

" Ajax, darling you know I was just adding some spice to your love life" she chuckled happily .

" Yeah thanks for turning my husband into a beast , I have enough children okay , I don't need anymore" he said angrily .

I had to shake head with a fond smile , aunt Mariam, was truly one of a kind . As the two were busy arguing, Joy, came and greeted all of us politely.

I looked at him and he looked a bit tired like he did not sleep at all last night .

" Are you okay JoJo?" I asked him feeling a bit worried . He looked at me then smiled, " I'm okay , I just had a really tough night" he sighed .

I nodded and led Lolo, to his seat , the whole family finally ate breakfast happily .

At around noon , I took Lolo for a stroll around the village. On the way we met with the cold Thando, honestly Thando, did not speak much and was pretty big , which made him look really intimidating.

We greeted him, he nodded and walked away, as if he had somewhere more important to be .

I could never get how my brother and Thando, became friends at all . Maybe, it was because I was always looking at a single person and that was my lovely bride Lolo.

I looked at him and just smiled all silly , he was just so beautiful. " What are you thinking about?" He asked curiously.

" I'm thinking about you " I said holding him closer . " Could you guys get a room , cause I don't want to see my elder brother being held in the street please" Lolo's little brother cut in .

I looked up at him, " close your eyes " he huffed, " I'm going to get married soon you know" I looked at him with interest , " oh to who?" .

His eyes became mischievous, " I'm getting to a certain lady named Lwandle Sky Khaya" my eyes widened.

" You what now ?" I asked feeling a bit uncomfortable, the other was my little sister, there's no way I could not have a reaction like a normal over protective brother .

Jobe, found himself wrapped by tree branches, which made him frightened . " No need to be angry I will take care of her and besides, did you not marry my older brother?" He asked .

" We are different, your dead " I warned .

" Okay listen can you give me a chance " he pleaded . "No" I was not planning to give him a chance at all .

Just then the sweet voice of my little sister called out, " Gigi, what are you doing?" She asked looking at me .

I opened my mouth and closed it, yet nothing came out .

Lolo, laughed happily at my despair.
