Autumn's pov
"so you figure out who were the boys from yesterday?" Holland says from the phone
"no, Holland will you just tell me" I plead
"nice try but no" she says and I just let out a loud sigh
"You are evil Holland Baker" I said
"aww I love you too, now talk to you later bye" as soon as she says that she hungs up
I threw myself on my bed with a annoying moan came of my mouth
"honey are you going to work or not" my dad said coming in my room
"yeah just give me a minute" I said and he nodded leaving
I got up from my bed and looked at me mirror with a smile on my face "today's a good day" is aid to myself
"actually today is hell" Cameron said coming in
"your a party pooper" I said grabbing my stuff and leaving him alone
I got downstairs and I was ready to work "hey dad can I have a ride to the bakery" I ask and he nodded
We drove for a couple minutes but finally we got there and I said goodbye to my dad
I opened up shop and immediately the people started to come
"so they haven't arrived huh?" Holland says
Right now is lunch and Holland thinks I'm waiting for the boys to arrive which I don't want to ok that's a lie of course I wanted to see them especially the brunette from yesterday
"nope" I said
"it's ok, it's still early" she says and I just nod
A couple of hours later it was now closing time and still no boys I knew they weren't coming
Holland left a couple minutes earlier and I was alone cleaning up, I locked the door because if someone came in here I would be scared and screwed
I was cleaning the kitchen when I heard a clatter from the the other room and it made me scared, I walked to the other room a d saw no one so I just sighed in relief. I was about to go back to the kitchen but I saw a shadow behind me
I gulped and turned around, I let out a shriek but then I saw the guy form yesterday outside and it was raining
"dude you scared me" I said opening the door letting him in
"sorry darling but you kinda deserve it, because you scared us yesterday" he says chuckling
"still not funny" I huffed and I hear him still laughing a little, I locked the door and I turn to him, I looked at and I saw him soaked from the rain and to be honest I felt bad
"take your clothes off" I demand and he looked at me surprised "woah take it easy girl, atleast take me out on a date first" he joked and I turned red of the embarrassed "no i-i mean your soaked in rain I have extra clothes in the back, and I don't want to make you sick" I said leading him to the back
"wow I didn't expect you to care about me" he says closing the door behind us
"yeah I know I was surprised too" I mumble
I looked around and saw a clean shirt and pants "here I think this will fit you" I said giving them to him "thanks" he says as he carefully took off his button up shirt
I turn around quickly blushing I can't believe I'm helping him, I don't even know him I thought. I looked around and I noticed there was a mirror facing us and which means I see him changing, I tried to look away but damn that guy is muscler. He was putting his pants on and I'm still looking him changing like a creep might I add I shake of the thoughts. He was now putting a brand new shirt that I gave him. I noticed he was done but I still haven't turn around and I noticed his wet closed in a hanger that I think he put in
"Brad" I was deep in my thoughts but he cut me off
"what?" I said still not looking at him I mean not directly
"that's my name" he says
"I'm Autumn" I said turning around to face him
"nice to meet you" he smiled
"maybe we should have done the names thing first before you took of you clothes" I said and he laughed
"yeah maybe but I wouldn't see you checking me out in the mirror" he said and I again blushed
"how did you-" I was cut off
"please I can tell you had a crush on me" he says
"oh you wish" I scoffed
"right" he smirk
"I forgot to ask you this but why are you here?" I said changing the subject
"oh right, me and my friends want to come by again but we were so busy so they sent me here to but cupcakes" he said
"oh ok then" I said walking back to the main entrance
"ok what?" he asks following me
"You said your here for the cupcakes so here, that will be 20 pounds" I said
"thanks and why do I need to pay this time"
"because you scared me, teased me and overall you are just a idiot" I said he laughs "ok then" he says paying me an staking the cupcakes away from me. After we did that I would lock up
"so are you going home?" he asks
"yeah, but the only problem is I don't have a ride I forgot to call me dad or my brothers" I said grabbing my stuff and locking up shop
"You can ride with me" he says
"woah take it easy brad, atleast take me out on a date first" I said copying what he said to me earlier
"funny...but I meant you want a ride?" he chuckles
"sure why not, I don't have a choice anyway" I said
We walked over to his car and got in "thanks" I smile which he smiled at in response
We drove to my house with the radio playing quietly, we arrived finally to my house and I turned to him "thanks again for the ride" I said taking my seat belt off
"your welcome and good night" he said with his thick British accent
I got out of the car and waved at him as he drove off, I went in the house with my dad pulling me to a massive bear hug
"where have you been" he asks
"at work I was cleaning up and forgot to text you, I'm sorry I'm just really tired" I said
"it's ok honey, I'm glad your ok"
"I'm going to bed, night" I said
"night"
I went upstairs and went to my room sighing "well look at that today was a good day" I smiled to myself
