Autumn's pov
"You guys are going to dinner tonight?" Holland asks while i was frosting a cupcake in my kitchen
"yeah I think so, oh and by the way can you guy watch the shop today afternoon?" I ask Holland and hazel
They nod "sure but we should get payed" hazel says
"ok I'll let you eat 3 cupcakes in the shop without paying" I said
"really thanks Autumn" hazel smiles
"so are you excited or nervous about te date?" Holland asks
"to be honest yes I am pretty nervous and excited about the date" I said putting the cupcakes in the fridge
"why? It's just a date with a hot guy with a very awesome body-ok I should stop talking" hazel says
Me and Holland laughed "because it's my first date in months, and since I broke up with Bryce" I said
"don't worry your gonna do great I'm sure he will love you" hazel says supporting me "hazel's right your gonna be great just don't hold back" Holland says agreeing with hazel
"thanks girls you guys are awesome" I said pulling them in a hug
Time skip (tonight)
OK it's time for the date and I'm even more nervous than before but I promised myself to keep it together. So I got ready with a bright smile on my face, after I got my shoes on I went downstairs to get everyone's thoughts
"woah!! Autumn you look great" James says while I walked into the room
"wow you clean up well" Tristan says
"thanks guys" I smiled
"good luck sis but call us if something goes wrong" Cameron said
"Cam nothings gonna go wrong I'm gonna be fine just calm down" I said touching his shoulders
"ok" he sighs
"my little sister just grew up" Cooper says
"I grew up 18 years ago you dumbass" I said
I hear a honk outside so that means his here "bye guys, don't blow up the house ok?" I said going to the door "good luck!" I hear them shout
I smiled at my friends and went out, I saw his car parked and him leaning on it. I walked over to him "hey, you look great" he says opening the door for me "thanks you look good too" I said getting in the car
He gets in the car and we drove off to a restaurant, as we arrived he opened the door again for me and lead me to our table. We sat down and ordered our food
"so how's your dad doing I heard he got a girlfriend" nick says
"yeah his pretty happy and that's good for him" I said
"how about you besides baking what do you like to do"
"I mean I like spending time with my family and friends, I like exploring stuff and pretty much try something new you know?"
"yeah totally"
"how about you? What are your hobbies?"
"oh I'm singing a little and I think I'm pretty good" he smiles
"You sing? Didn't know that...thats great nick good for you" I said smiling back,he has a great smile well so is Brad's smile it literally lits up a ro- stop it!
"You should sing for me sometime" I said
"yeah I would be glad if you hear me sing" he says
I smiled what do you think Brad's doing right now, probably doing a cute thing- would you stop thinking about him! Well that's to bad because his gonna be stuck in your head all night please stop, I'm moving on from him yeah then why are you arguing with yourself in your thoughts about him
"You ok Autumn?" nick said cutting me off from my thoughts
"I'm ok Brad-I mean nick I mean nick" I said
"okay then" he says
Why am I thinking about him! God can I just have a nice date without getting reminded of Brad
So at dinner we talked about alot things but I cant seem to get him out of my head. After dinner he drove me home with us talking in the car, as we arrived he walked me to the door
"I had a great time nick" I said facing him
"me too" he smiles and then he starts to lean in but as soon he comes closer and closer i just kept thinking about Brad "no! I mean I can't" I said stopping him from kissing me
"oh I'm sorry I didn't mean-"
"no it's not you I'm just having trouble to process something and I think I just said yes to you because I used you as a person to get over someone so I'm sorry" I said
"You like someone else don't you?" nick says
I slowly nodded "yeah, I tried to not think about him but I just can't"
"don't worry Autumn, he completely deserves you and I'm sure he'll like you"
"how would you know?"
"because I think Brad was jealous when I asked you out"
"I didn't say it was Brad-"
"it's obvious Autumn and I'm pretty sure he likes you too" he says completely cutting me off "just go get him" he says kissing my cheek and walking away
"don't worry nick you'll find someone" i said
He smiles and gets in his car and drove off
Well I had alot to think about tonight when I sleep
