Atsumu and Osamu's Parents loved them dearly. And they always will.

But that doesn't mean other people will.

Atsumu was always compared to Osamu.

When they were in family gatherings their aunts would always fawn over Osamu for his looks, even though it made no sense since both of them practically have the same face.

Osamu had always been the subject of the class due to his smarts and calm demeanor.

Even out of school he'd always be the topic.

Atsumu was well the one in the back seat.

Although he had many friends, he also had a lot of bullies.

Atsumu didn't think of it as much and didn't tell his brother.

That is until middle school.

They got physical with Atsumu.

But not to the point where he'd bleed or bruise.

No. Osamu'd kill them.

But regardless of that thought they still bullied him.

If Osamu wasn't with Atsumu they'd push and shove him.

They'd laugh at him and talk badly about him.

Just because he 'doesn't have the smarts' and because 'he's annoying'.

Even though Atsumu was one of the kindest, most generous person in that school and he was particularly smart.

Since he loved reading he had good grades.

They'd do this every.

Single.

Day.

Its a routine for Atsumu now already.

He'd go to school with his brother, then go to morning practice, after practice, he'd go to class just to be insulted by his classmates who were obviously jealous of him.

Your wondering why he won't tell his brother?

Because he doesn't need to.

He'd been numbed by pain.

Too much that he barely has genuine smiles.

Atsumu was always good at faking.

He'd always bottle up his feelings until they overflew.

Sometimes he doesn't even know if he's crying or not.

Osamu never payed any attention to it because he got fooled by his brother's big bright fake smile.

Honestly, for someone so observant and smart Osamu hasn't noticed.

The only people in existence to see through Atsumu's smile and knows about the bullying are Kuroo, Oikawa, Lev, and Yamaguchi.

They just happened to walk in on Atsumu when he was having a break down on one of the many training camps together.

Apparently at that time one of his bullies dm'ed him about how 'useless' he was.
