𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓒𝓱𝓲𝓵𝓭 𝓗𝓮 𝓖𝓻𝓮𝔀 𝓣𝓸 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮

Goshiki Tsutomu was a first year at the Shiratorizawa Academy, and a member of their respected Volleyball Club.

The kid aimed to be an Ace just like Ushijima Wakatoshi.

It made Shirabu laugh every time he thought about his dream.

It frustrated Shirabu how this child just waltzed into the club and announced that he was gonna be an Ace like the person Shirabu respected the most.

Shirabu had always thought of this child as, Annoying, overly energetic and overall fucking fly that followed him around.

But all of that changed, all of Shirabu's thoughts changed the moment he first set to the child.

It felt relieving, and quite literally amazing, to call out the child's name as he set to him.

How fantastic it felt when they scored a point because Shirabu trusted and set to the child he was annoyed of.

All his thoughts of the child, was changed.

Just with a single point.

A single set.

A single call of his name and the child spiked the ball and scored them a point.

Shirabu felt as if, the annoying child he knew changed to a completely different person.

And Shirabu saw, the talent, the precision and strength he put in that one spike.

Shirabu hated to admit it but he was growing to like this child.

Months passed and the child still followed him around, but Shirabu didn't mind anymore and he actually held conversations with him.

The first time Shirabu replied to Goshiki, the side banged male saw, how happy Goshiki was and how energetic he was right after Shirabu answered him for the first time, and to Shirabu's surprise, it made him happy that the child was happy.

And it made Shirabu even happier when they first won a game with Goshiki's spike, so much that he actually, genuinely smiled at the kid.

Every time, Goshiki was in trouble or was in need of help, as much as Shirabu denied it, he was the first to help him.

He got protective when someone even as much as looked in Goshiki's direction.

He'd walk Goshiki home or to the gate or the bus stop every single day.

He'd stay beside Goshiki any time he got whether it be at practice, the canteen or when they study together.

He'd wait for Goshiki at the gate every day and even walk him to class.

He offers to tutor Goshiki in the subjects he didn't do well on or on tests.

And when Goshiki came running to him at practice screaming: 'I got full scores on my test Shirabu-San!!!' And hugged him so tight, Shirabu never felt happier.

That was when he knew, he grew to love this annoying child, and he'd do everything in his power to protect him.
