This is an AU where Atsumu has dissociative identity disorder  and he gets bullied for it, a lot.

This is extremely inspired by a scene in HxH you might recognize it while reading so yeah

Osamu sat in his room, he watching his twin clinging to him.

"Asu.."

He said but despite being called the male talked instead.

"Ne, Samu. Could you give me a kiss on the forehead?"

Osamu clenched his fists and tried again.

"Asu, you can't come out again."

'Asu' looked to Osamu as he ignored his words and repeated his order.

"Osamu, could you give me a kiss?"

Osamu stared at his twin's eyes.

"Asu! Please understand that you can't come out anymore!"

He raised his voice.

Asu stared at him as he squinted his eyes to make them a crescent shape then smiled at Osamu.

"Osamu, I love you.."

Osamu's eyes widened for a moment as he held back tears, after he so desperately prevented the tears from falling, he clenched them shut and yelled,

"Asu you can't come out anymore! Atsumu gets hurt if your out so don't come out again! Ever!"

'Asu' stared at him as tears formed at the corner of his eyes.

"'Kay.."

He said closing his eyes. Osamu's lip quivered as he pulled Atsumu in an embrace and buried his head on his twin's shoulder.

'He's free..'

'Atsumu's finally free!'

'You won't get bullied anymore Atsumu..'

Atsumu groaned signaling Osamu to look at him.

Atsumu blinked his eyes for a few seconds before his vision focused on his twin.

Atsumu's eyes widened slightly as he furrowed his brows.

"Atsum-"

"Osamu did you say something mean to Asu..?"

Atsumu cut him off as he got up.

"He's hungover over crying mumbling things like 'He doesn't love me Atsumu.' And 'He told me to never come out again'"

Yelled Atsumu as he clenched his hands staring directly at Osamu.

While the aforementioned stared at his twin before saying,

"But-"

Yet got ultimately cut off by Atsumu yelling,

"Apologize to him! Apologize to Asu!"

Osamu stared at Atsumu as the latter's shoulders shook and his knuckles turning white.

"If your nice to me you have to be nice to Asu too! Me and him may not be the same person but he's still apart of me! And of you want to protect me, you should protect Asu too!"

As drops of Atsumu's tears landed on the ground he yelled at Osamu,

"That's why apologize!"

Atsumu stared at Osamu who looked dumbfounded.

Atsumu's tears continued to drop to the ground as he breathed through his mouth.

"Atsumu.."

Muttered Osamu before smacking himself with both hands.

"This twin was being stupid.. Could you call out Asu for me Atsumu..?"

Atsumu nodded as he wiped his tears and sat back down beside his twin before closing his eyes.

Atsumu's face morphed into Asu's crying face.

Osamu looked towards Asu before saying,

"Asu I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have said that. I was getting frustrated with the amount of bruises on Atsumu's body when we get home or change to practice. I was mean to you and I'm sorry.."

Osamu looked up to Asu before tilting his head slightly.

"Would you forgive this bad brother..?"

Osamu said.

Asu stared at Osamu wide eyed before looking down and said.

"'Kay.."

Osamu's eyes widened before tears formed and eventually fell down.

Pulling Asu in a hug, Osamu nuzzled his face on his brother's shoulder while Asu wrapped his hands around Osamu nuzzling his head on the aforementioned's chest.

"I'm sorry Asu.."

The two stayed in each other's embrace before eventually falling asleep.
