"Okay sweetie have a good day, it's gonna be great, smile, and friends will flood your way. I love you!"

"I love you too dad." I say and then hang up and walk around the corner into my new class.

"Goodmorning, are you our new student?" The teacher asks.

"Yea, Olivia Brown." I say and shake his hand.

"Nice to meet you miss Brown. I'm Mr. Walker but you can call me Graham." He says.

"Nice to meet you Graham." I say with a smile.
He nods and I take a seat in the front.

I have been playing instruments since I came out of the womb basically, but violin and piano really stuck. I played all throughout grade school, middle school, and highschool.
I won a lot of awards throughout the years and was offered a scholarship at Calvin university, but got an even better offer here at Michigan state this past summer, so I took it of course.
I'm now a junior though and I hate switching schools this late into my major.
I feel like everyone already has friends and I'm just kind of here.
And I'm not the social type.
I'm very reserved, I liked to listen not talk, and am kinda awkward I feel, I need someone else to come up to me.

"HEY! I don't recognize you what's your name?"

"Oh, hey yea I'm new, my names Olivia." I reply.

"You're very pretty. I usually sit right next to you so I think we're meant to be friends. My name is Emily by the way." She says with a bubbly voice and eye.

The bell rings.

"Okay, Goodmorning everyone." Graham says.

We practice and play through a song, but
I got the email a couple weeks ago that we would be half way into our first song of our show by the time I would be able to make my first class. So I feel very behind but I have been practicing at my house.

"Miss Brown, do you need help?" Graham asks.

"Yes I'm sorry I just can't get the run down." I say back.

"Don't worry it's just because you missed last week, we all had trouble but it's all in the fingers you use." He replies then picks up his violin and puts it on his shoulder while leaning it down toward me so I can see.
"I know you probably feel more natural starting this with your ring finger but I promise you if you use your pinky first and use it last as well it will help you reach the notes faster." He explains then plays the run.

I take a deep breath and raise my violin up and try it.
It works, just a little scratchy.
"There you go, just keep practicing that." He says then walks back to the front.

"That actually helped me too." Emily whispers and giggles.

Graham walks back to his desk and then there's a knock on the door.
He waves to come in and in walks a boy.
Thick, dark brown, wavy hair, tall, fit, and a very clean look.
He's asking Graham for something.
Does he play music too? God I hope so.

He's in a dark gray fitted sweater and black fitted jeans. His sleeve are rolled up just a little and he has a nice navy blue watch on.
I can see through his fitted clothes that his muscles are very defined.

Graham typed something into the boys phone.
He can't be younger than me, but definitely not twenty five, I would still ID him.
They take their phone back then walk out of class.
