A friend who likes fasion

ADIENS POV
I woke up the morning after thinking about last night. It was nice to have a friend like Marinette but I couldn't stop thinking of her and i don't know why. I know Marinette is just a friend but she's so beautiful
and her lips are so soft, she's admirable but I could never like her like that. I got ready for school but decided to leave the t-shirt and just wear the white jacket buttoned up. My heart skipped a beat when I thought of seeing Marinette again at school I wanted to look good.
Nino was waiting for me with alya and Marinette as they waved to me. When I saw Mari I gasped she looked different today, her hair was down and wavy and she wore a white t-shirt that fit her figure and her same pink pants. I don't know why I was nervous because I'm never nervous around Mari but with her new look and our closeness last night I don't know if I can keep it together.
"Hey guys" I waved
"Hey Adrien" myfriends greeted him.
"How was your weekend" nino asked
"It was good, mostly in my house boring". I tried to keep my focus on nino and not down at Marinette.
"What about you guys"
"Me and alya had a sleepover" said nino
"Yup" said alya
"I- I didn't really do anything special" said Marinette, her voice was soft but in a strong way she seemed more confident today. I stared at her for a second thinking about her icy blue eyes and how I wanted to look into them, she was talking to alya I don't know what about, the world kinda muted as she laughed I was so conflicted over her she confused me. I saw a hand infront of my face
"Earth to Adrien"
I looked over at nino waving infront of my face the whole world snapped back into place as I got a sense of reality.
"Hey- uh- ready to go to class"
"Yeah weirdo"
We headed to class and I decided to keep my focus on school and nino.
We went to history and I kept my focus on the lecture, it was a little easier with Marinette sitting behind me so I couldn't see her.
Once class ended everyone started to clear out. I saw Mari still packing up as everyone left. She seemed to have dropped her papers. She's so clumsy☺️
I went over to her and helped her pick up.
"Thanks Adrien" Mari said with that voice. I sat up on the desk as she put her papers in her bag.
"Where you heading" I asked
"Me and alya are go-going to the zoo then ge-getting ice cream after"
"Sounds awesome"
"You uh-"
She stared into my eyes nervously as I saw her foot slip. I grabbed her hand and pulled her in holding her waist. I was still sitting on the desk with her between my legs pressed against me. We gazed into each other's eyes as I got closer I don't know why or what I was expecting all I knew is that I was drawn to her. We where about an inch from each other when Mari pulled away.
" uh- your-I- got to meet alya"
Marinette left and I threw my book I was so pissed I scared her away I was a fool to think she could like me, Maris a friend and I shouldn't think of her like that. Kugami never makes me feel this way I mean where barley dating we haven't even kissed yet. But I have to make sure Kugami knows where not dating if I'm feeling drawn to someone else even if Mari is a friend.
