chapter thirteen: dealing with the monster

The next morning şahika woke up hearing caner's voice echoed through the whole house. she couldn't shake off the disappointed feeling inside, 'seems like our alone time is over'

she shook her head and got out of bed, today was the big day and there was no room for anything else. 'i have to stay focused, i hope i can'

after getting dressed she got out of her room and went to the kitchen "good morning caner, missed me?"

"not even a little bit şahika, but i'm sure you missed me; since you like me so much"

şahika laughed and looked over at ender who was refusing to look her in the eye, interesting.

"no honey i can honestly say that you weren't missed at all, i had a very pleasurable weekend without you"

caner looked very confused and ender's cheeks became red and the coffee mug began to shake in her hands; she cleared her throat and turned to şahika "ahm.. şahika enough; don't make fun of him"

şahika grinned "fine! i'll try. but no promises"

she leaned back in her seat and took a deep breath while smiling. she looked like the cat that got the cream.

caner was looking at her with narrowed eyes, "you're in a very good mood today şahika!"

"of course mon chéri, why shouldn't i be? if anything goes according to plan i'm gonna get my life back today. a brand new page is waiting for me and i'm very satisfied!"

ender immediately got up from her seat when she heard şahika using the word satisfied while talking to her brother "ok şahika that's enough! mahmut texted me and said everything is ready and he's waiting for us. we have to leave as soon as possible, come on"

sahika rolled her eyes but did as she was told anyway.

As they were getting their coats from the hanger şahika leaned in and whispered in ender's ear "they have removed the fun in you ender"

ender gasped and tried to ground herself by opening the door and moving toward her car "you seriously should stop making fun of my brother"

they both got in the car and şahika turned to ender and grinned "now now, just because you're my girlfriend it doesn't mean i'm gonna baby your brother! the opposite in fact, i should make fun of him more now"

ender knew arguing with şahika was pointless so she just shook her head "you're insufferable"

they reached the holding and took the elevator. being alone in an empty elevator with ender was bringing graphic images to şahika's mind, she bit her lips and grinned.

that did it! suddenly ender turned to her "Be appropriate today, şahika! The last thing I need is some gasping, groaning ..."

That got rid of şahika's grin right away. She turned to stare at ender in disbelief, and thankfully ender trailed off.

"Of course" Like she'd ever be that dumb. Wearing sexy boots to work was one thing; Looking all moony eyed at your female partner was something else, şahika knew that.

In fact, şahika thought that ender might need reminding much more than she did.

She apparently wasn't kidding about şahika opening up a floodgate.
