chapter seventeen: neighbour

Then şahika didn't say anything else; ender didn't say anything either, she just pulled her night gown down and shifted into a sitting position on the couch. şahika kept not speaking, just kneeling on the ground in front of ender.

she couldn't believe she'd just said that. She couldn't believe it at all.

Then ender said "How's that dear?"

Shit "I don't know" şahika said lamely "Sorry..I guess that was.." She bit her lip "No. It's not impossible..Uh.. I think we should try it. I can't believe I'm saying this but we should" She took a deep breath, tilted her head back and stared at ender "I want to live with you. I want to see you in my home everyday and there's no other way we can pull that off, with things the way they are now"

"You have lost your mind"

"yeah probably" şahika said with a stupid grin on her face "I know it's crazy but..."

"sister...!"

şahika jolted upward when she heard caner's voice and his footsteps. what really shocked şahika though was ender's rushing toward her under wear ,her very wet underwear, picking it up from the the floor and throwing it behind the couch! "wha.."

ender turned to şahika and put her index finger on her nose to shush her "shhhh! do you want him to know what we were doing!"

caner came into the living room before şahika could reply and looked at them with confusion "şahika what are you doing here?"

şahika looked over at ender, ender gave a very subtle shrug. so şahika turned to caner "uhmm... i had to talk to ender about a very important meeting we're having with a client tomorrow"

caner raised his eyebrows "at this hour!?"

ender jumped in "it was very urgent caner, why are you questioning us like this. why did you come down anyway?"

"fine don't get angry. i just heard talking voices so i came to check"

ender added, trying very hard to hide her nervousness "ok now that you've checked, you can go back to your room. şahika was going anyway"

she was!? she thought they had much more to talk about, but it was not the right time she guess. so she nodded "yes, we were DONE anyway"

ender gave a very small squick at that and tried to cover it with a cough.

şahika couldn't contain her smirk "well i'm gonna go now" then she turned to ender "ender would you please walk me to the door, i just remembered a very important detail about the meeting" and she moved toward the door without looking back at ender; she was following her, şahika was sure of that.

when they reached the door, şahika turned around and told her "ender i'll call you when i arrived back home ok!? we still need to talk about this"

"there is nothing to talk about şahika, this idea of yours is crazy how would it even work!?"

şahika took ender's hands into her own "please ender i said we'll talk about it. i have an idea" then she winked at her and continued "i'm full of bright ideas like that you know"

ender rolled her eyes, smiling "are you the same woman who was begging me with poppy dog eyes half an hour ago?"

şahika nodded "yup! i know how you feel about me now. i'm just fine"
