{DISCONTINUED} Future holds everything

Chapter 1

1st person view

Rin

"Rin, run away from here! I'll be fine, trust me", the sentence that Kokoro, my sister said to me before I left her kept playing in my mind.

The incident changed my life forever.

My name is Rin Tsurumaki, I've been running away from home since yesterday.

I want to get away from there as far as my legs can take me. I don't want any memories of it. It just hurts...

I'm so exhausted and hungry that I felt like it was going to end. I can't take this anymore so I passed out.

Atsushi

I was just out buying some necessities for the agency and saw a girl laying on the middle of the road. A car was going to hit her, but I stopped it.

"Maybe I should bring her back to the agency..."

I'm pretty sure Kunikida is going to be mad at me......

Dazai

Atsushi seems to be taking a long time to get back. I wonder what happened.... Suddenly he burst in with a girl in his tiger arms.

I have to say, she does look adorable, so I quickly asked Atsushi who she is.

"I found her when she was nearly getting hit by a car. I don't know her name yet"

I noticed the worried look on his face when he said that.

I offered to let her sleep with me but Kunikida gave me a bonk and said to let her sleep with Atsushi instead *sigh* .

Rin

I somehow woke up in a room. A boy approached me and said "Oh good, you're awake". My mind is determined for answers.

"Where am I? Who are you?"

"I'm Atsushi Nakajima, I saved you from getting hit by a car yesterday. What's your name? Are you alright?".

He.. saved me...? I told my name and lied about my feelings to not make him worry too much about me. He then asked if the room was okay.

"It isn't the best, but I'm grateful that I have somewhere to sleep"

I was starving to the point that I couldn't even get up by myself.

Atsushi

Rin looked very miserable and hungry so I lent her a hand and brought her to the café. I asked her to order anything she wanted, even when I don't want to spend too much.

"I'd like.... some tofu..."

Looks like she's a tofu lover fufu.

A few minutes later Kunikida and Dazai came into the café and greeted us.

"What have you brought in this time.. I told you not to bring anyone you find miserable in riverbanks to the agency but you never listen", Kunikida immediately scolded me. He then asked for her name and she answered spontaneously.

Kunikida

I've warned him so many times that I lost track of all the warnings I gave to him.

I know that Atsushi is trying to help others and not make them experience anything bad like he did, but taking in a girl whom we don't even recognise is very disturbing.

What happens if she's one of the Port Mafia members? We don't even know if she has an ability.

I introduced myself to her regardless of all the negative possibilities that were bothering me.

3rd person view

After ordering some food from the menu, Dazai quickly asked Rin on how she ended up on the roadside.

"Our mansion got burned down by some robbers, I was lucky enough to escape before it was too late. I don't know if my sister managed to survive", she said worriedly.

Everyone was surprised to hear that she lived in a mansion.

Atsushi noticed her worrying so he gently patted her head and asked her to not worry too much about the incident.

Dazai then asked if she wanted to join the agency, but she refused as she thinks that she won't be any help.
