We decided on a ramen place instead of breakfast before going to play mini-golf. Suga complained about how he should drive since he asked me to go out so I gave up and let him. Boy was that a mistake, but he's not worse than Bokuto or Kuroo so that's a plus.
He ended up ordering the spicy chicken ramen while I got [flavour]. "So Y/n?" I looked up from my phone. "Yea?" "Are you excited about the training camp next week?" "Yea, it's a chance for you guys to get in some more practice so you can go to nationals."
He looked at me puzzled for a moment. "What?" "You think we can make it to nationals?" "Of course you guys can. I've seen a few teams play and you guys have a really good chance of making it."
His eyes lit up. "I hope we can, I mean we're definitely putting in the work for it." "I know, you guys are imp-" The waitress cut me off she approached the table. "I have the spicy chicken ramen for you," She said in a sweet voice as she placed the bowl in front of Suga.
"And a [flavor] ramen." Her customer service voice dropped as she put mine in front of me. She looked at Suga before walking away. "Enjoy" She gave him a sweet smile that made my heart clench.
I took a deep breath and brushed it off. We talked here and there as we ate but it was mostly a comfortable silence. When the waitress came back she put the check in front of Suga. 'AHA AHA AHA no.'
I grabbed it from him and put some cash in it, leaving extra for a tip. "Are you that excited for mini-golf?" I nodded in excitement. In all actuality, I was. "Alrighty then, come on" He laughed as he got out of the booth and stuck a hand out towards me.
I took it without a second thought and the two of us walked out of the shop, hand in hand. On the way out our waitress was standing next to another employee. The other girl looked like she had a bubbly personality.
"Have a good day! Also, you two are a really cute couple!" Our waitress scoffed and I was about to say we weren't together when Suga spoke up first. "Thank you. You have a good day as well" When we got back to the car I gave him a confused look which he brushed off with a smile.

"How are you so good at this?" Suga complained as he missed the hole for the 5th time. I just laughed. He was taking this so seriously but it was adorable. "Watch" I walked over to him and positioned his hands a little lower on the club.
I turned his shoulder slightly to the left, giving him a wider stance. "Ok, now try" He hit the ball and it fell into the hole. "See?" I felt him pick me up and lift me over his shoulder. His arms were wrapped around my thighs.
"Put me down!!" I said as I squirmed around. He set me down directly in front of him and cupped my cheeks as he looked at me, he also had a big smile that gave me butterflies.
"Y/n" "Suga" "You look really beautiful right now" I felt my face get hot as I started to blush, and there was no way I could hide it either. "I-I" I couldn't find the words. Literally, every word I know, gone. My mind was blank.
"I like you" His words made my breath hitch and I got even redder. My mouth opened slightly and I just stared up into his eyes. "I like you too" I finally managed to spit out. As soon as the words left my mouth he pulled me into a hug.
This hug made me feel safe. Like nothing could hurt me. Like he was gonna be there to protect me. "We should get back to golfing so you can lose" I giggled. He laughed and pulled away. "Bold of you to assume you're gonna win" "Ouch! You wound me Suga" I said playfully as I picked up my club.

I ended up winning, just like I said I would. On the way back home my phone was blowing up non-stop so I had to turn it on silent. The car ride was filled with fun conversations and lots of laughter.
We pulled up in the driveway and got out. "I'll see you in an hour" I said to him, knowing we had practice later. I started walking inside when he grabbed my hand, stopping me. He had a nervous look on his face and was starting to sweat.
"Are you okay?" "I'm just going to ahead and say this now. I like you Y/n and I want you to be my girlfriend." He looked even more nervous as he waited for my answer. "I really like that idea" I gave him a smile and squeezed his hand.
"Ok then. I'll see you in an hour." He started to walk away but tripped over the edge of the sidewalk. I giggled a little bit and went inside.
