~Your POV~
I pulled up in the driveway just as the sun was starting to rise. I couldn't stand to be home last night, not after all that. My mom has said all of those things to me before, but never did she dare say it in front of my dad or Keiji.
I sat in the car as I pondered what to do. My mom's car was still here so I'm assuming she was too. So, I pulled out my phone and texted one of the few people that I felt close to.

Read 6:24 AMAfter a few seconds, I heard quiet shuffling inside, then the door opened revealing a tired Suga, who was still in his pajamas, and had messy bed hair. I stepped inside and he closed the door behind me.
After slipping off my shoes he motioned for me to follow him upstairs. I kept quiet the whole way, mainly because I didn't feel like saying anything. When we got to his room the walls were decorated with volleyball posters, his desk was neat but his books and homework were scattered all across it.
As I looked around there were a lot of pictures of him and his family along with him and his friends. There was also a volleyball in the corner of his room. I stopped to admire his bookshelf. It was small but I still fell in love with it. I stopped when my eyes landed on a copy of The Midnight Library.
"Have you read it?" His voice was deep and raspy. I nodded. "One of my favorites" I mumbled. I saw him reach from behind me and grab it off the shelf. I turned around to look at him but he was already laying down on his bed.
'Why is he being so quiet? Maybe since it's early?' I studied him for a few seconds and noticed he looked a little hurt. I walked over and sat down next to where he was laying. I took a deep breath and met his gaze, "Are you okay?" He seemed a little taken aback by my question but gave me a smile.
"I'm fine, are you okay?" My gaze dropped to the bed, and then the walls before I looked back at him. "I will be" He didn't seem very convinced but I don't think he wanted to push the topic anymore.
I felt him sit up and then I felt his arms around my waist, which made my face heat up. He pulled me closer to him and put a pillow on his lap, which I put my head down on. One of his hands started to play with my hair while the other held the book open.
"Nineteen years before she decided to die, Nora Seed sat in the warmth of the small library at Hazeldene School in the town of Bedford. She sat at a low table staring at a chessboard. 'Nora dear, it's natural to worry about your future,' said the librarian, Mrs. Elm, her eyes twinkling."
I don't know what I was expecting, but Suga reading me a book was definitely not it. However, I didn't mind. Keiji used to read me stories when I was little to make me feel better, but there was something about Suga.
He brought a comfort that I don't feel unless I'm in the library, with my face stuffed in a book. He was warm, and his voice was soothing. For a moment, everything felt right in the world.
I didn't realize I had fallen asleep until my eyes opened. I could still hear Suga reading but I noticed I had moved in my sleep, so now my head was on his chest and my arms were wrapped around him.
His hands were still doing the same things they were before, except he had switched them, so his left hand was playing with my hair, and his right was holding the book. My body was really warm, but not like a hot warm, it was a comfortable warm.
He had thrown a blanket over the two of us. Normally I would be nervous since I've never been this vulnerable with anyone. Not Keiji, not Kenma, not even my dad. But like I said, there was something about him.
He stopped reading and put the book down, so now his right hand was resting on my back. "How'd you sleep?" "Pretty good for once" I didn't have to see his face to know he was smiling, I could hear his heart beating faster up instead.
"Did you read the whole time?" He gave me a small "Mhm." "Y/n?" "Suga?" "Do you wanna bake a cake?" I immediately started laughing since that is not at all what I thought he was going to say. "It's 7:50 AM" "Your point?" He said laughing.
"Come on, we can go to the store and get everything we need, and then we can make a cake." "I'm not even wearing the right clothes. And it's cold outside." Suga squirmed out from under me and walked towards his closet, excitedly.
He threw a pair of sweats at me and his track jacket. "You're serious about this, aren't you?" I asked with a slight smile. "If you don't w-" I grabbed his clothes and slipped them on over mine.
"Come on," I said as I grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the room. He looked super happy and I wasn't about to ruin that for him. And honestly, seeing him happy made my heart skip a beat.
