"Where's Kageyama and Hinata?" I asked as we got to the van. "Hinata failed English. All his answers were right but he realized he was off by one question before time ran out. Kageyama failed Japanese." Daichi replied.
"They'll be here" Tanaka added with confidence. I was about to go sit in the back by myself when Suga grabbed my wrist and pulled me down next to him. "Why yes, I would love to sit next to you" I laughed.
It was pretty early in the morning so everyone was kind of tired. Except for Noya and Tanaka who were yelling about something in the back. "WILL YOU TWO BE QUIET?!" Coach Ukai yelled getting them to shut up.
I yawned and put my head on Suga's shoulder. He wrapped one of his arms around me before resting his head on top of mine. The moment I closed my eyes, I was out.

"WE'RE HERE" I woke up suddenly to Nishinoya yelling. I rubbed my eyes and got up from my seat. "Y/n you grab the bottles, I'll get the bags." I nodded at Kiyoko. When I got out the team was already walking away. All except Suga.
"Sorry, I'm coming," I said as I ran to catch up with him. "You're always getting left behind" He joked. "Haha" "Don't fake laugh, I'm funny." He said as he poked my side, earning a real laugh from me.
"Stop that," I said as I playfully smacked his hand away. He crossed his arms and pouted like a two-year-old. "I'm sorry," I said as I reached for his hand. He spun around and picked me up, before throwing me over his shoulder.
I was laughing the whole time he carried me. Mainly because he was tickling me. "I am going to fall if you keep doing that!" I said in between laughs. "I would never let you fall"
"Y/n?" As I was hanging upsidedown I continued laughing while I peeked through Suga's arms. "Oh" I tapped Suga's back and he put me down. "I didn't expect to see you here" I shrugged and Suga could tell something wasn't right.
"We should probably get inside and find everyone else" "Right, well I'll see you on the court," Kuroo said in response as we walked past him. I nodded, "Are you okay?" Suga asked as he slipped his hand in mine.
"Yea I'm good," I said as I stepped closer to me. We entered the gym and he gave me a small kiss on my forehead, causing me to blush heavily. "Let's go lovebirds," Coach Ukai said as we walked over and met up with the team.
"Our first game is against Fukurodani" Kiyoko handed me one of the water bottle carriers and she had the other. "We should go fill these up" "I can do it," I said as I grabbed the carrier from her hand. She gave me a polite smile and I left to go find the water fountain.
I had finished filling up half of the bottles when someone covered my eyes with their hands. "Guess who?" 'Suga' "Um Asahi?" I heard him gasp like he was offended and he removed his hands.
"I'm just kidding. Hi Suga" He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder. "Shouldn't you be warming up with the team?" I asked as I continued filling the bottles.
"We're waiting on Fukurodani's ace" "Bokuto?" "Yea" I hummed. "Y/n, can we go out again when we get back home?" I laughed at Suga's question. "Yea, that'd be nice" He pecked my cheek and I started to blush again.
"Aw you're flustered" "Am not" "Are too" "Am not" "Admit it" "Never" We started laughing again and I picked up the bottle carriers to go back to the gym. We basically play argued and mocked each other until we rejoined the team. Kageyama and Hinata had arrived while we were gone.
"Y/n can you help toss to Kageyama?" "Yea no problem," I said to Coach as I walked out onto the court. I was gonna be tossing to Kageyama who would set to our hitters. I tossed him a few which were a little low.
"Can you toss higher?" "Yea sorry" "Don't worry about it" I smiled at Kageyama's reply and continued to toss for him. Hinata ended up hitting one really hard and ran over to me in excitement.
"DID YOU SEE THAT Y/N?!" He hugged me and started jumping up and down. "Yea! That was really cool!" When he stepped back I gave him a high five.
~Third Person POV~
Akaashi started choking on his water when he heard what Hinata said. "Ew Agasheee" Bokuto said as he wiped the water off of him. "Did you hear what that kid said?" "Nope!" As if on cue Kuroo came running up to the other two boys while dragging Kenma along.
"Did you guys know Y/n's here?" Bokuto jumped up and scanned the room in excitement but Y/n was hidden by Tsukishima, Asahi, and Kageyama.
"Why would Y/n be here? She wouldn't have anything to do with a team" Akaashi said with an expressionless face. Kenma looked up from his switch and stared at all 3 of the boys. "She's here"
The three looked back at Kenma and waited for an explanation. Kenma pointed over to Karasuno's bench where Y/n was standing with Suga.
He had stars in his eyes while he was looking at her. Anyone could tell he looked at her like she was the most important thing in the room.
Hinata and Noya were shouting about something and she smiled at them. She also had a volleyball in her hand which she tossed to Daichi. Tsukishima poked her in the head with his water bottle which made her laugh even more as she tried to smack it away.
Kuroo, Bokuto, and Akaashi stared in disbelief while Kenma went back to playing his game. "She didn't tell us?" Bokuto asked sadly. "She told me" Kenma replied dryly. "Did she tell you Akaashi?" Kuroo asked and Akaashi shook his head. "No"
"Why would she?" The boys looked back at Kenma in shock. He shrugged it off. The three continued to stare at Kenma who didn't look up from his game until Kuroo took it from him.
"Fine." He looked at Akaashi first. "Your mom constantly compares Y/n to you and it makes her feel like she isn't good enough." He looked at Bokuto next. "Bokuto you were always talking about yourself and ignoring her when she wanted to talk to you" He looked at Kuroo next. "You teased her about literally everything."
He looked at all the boys as a collective. "You guys thought she was fragile, like she would break at any second. Half the time she didn't tell you what was going on because she felt like she was always burdening you guys. So I was there. Listening to her cry, helping her pick up the pieces, making her feel better. She loves you but you're not without flaws."
Akaashi sighed. "I've never seen her like this" Akaashi said as he looked over at his sister. "Karasuno really helped her. And so did Suga" Kenma replied as he took his switch back.
The boys looked back over at Y/n whose face was buried in Sugawara's chest. She was laughing along with the rest of the team and Suga had his arms wrapped around her.
"She's happy"
