The Mistakes We Made

The Ending

Over the next couple weeks Ben was getting help for his dreams, or whatever you want to call them. He had his first full night of sleep last night, and for him that was a big accomplishment.

Ben woke up to an empty hotel room. He thought that Miranda and Dani had left already so he got himself ready for the day.  As Ben sat on the couch the hotel door opened. Miranda walked in with bags in her hand, and Dani on her hip. Ben quickly got up and walked towards Miranda grabbing the bags out of her hands.
"Thank you." Miranda kissed Ben and sat Dani on the floor.
Ben nodded and sat the bags on a nearby table. "So where did you guys go?"
"Target. We went to get somethings for the house. It's moving day remember." Miranda explained.
"Yeah I remember." Ben sat down on the couch next to Dani, "why didn't you wake me? We could have went together."
"Ben you haven't slept in 2 weeks. I let you get your sleep, it's fine." Miranda explained as she empty the bags.
"Thank you because I really needed it."
Miranda chuckled as she walked into the bathroom closing the door behind her.

Ben got up from the couch and grabbed his, Miranda's, and Danis suitcases. Dani was standing right by his side holding his leg. "Do you want to help me pack?" He asked her.
Dani shook her head excitedly.
Ben chuckled and asked her to grab all of the clothes she had so he could fold them and put them in the suitcase.
Ben was almost half way done when Miranda walked out of the bathroom drying her hands with a paper towel. "What are you guys doing?" She asked as she stood next to Ben.
"Packing, do you want to help?" Ben said as he folded a shirt.
"No I think i'm just going to watch you two do it." Miranda chuckled and Ben threw the shirt in his hand at her chest.
"You got jokes now?"
"Mmm just a few."
Ben pulled Miranda into a passionate kiss. Miranda moaned as her body ached him. "Damnit." she whispered under her breathe, and pushed him away as she reminded him that Dani was in the room.
"We can finish that later." Ben said with a smirk.

Once they were finished packing Ben put all of their bags and suitcases into the car. Miranda followed him outside with Dani on her hip as she tugged at her earring. "Baby stop you're hurting me." Miranda said as she pulled Danis hand away from her ear.
"Sorry mama." Dani said sadly.
"It's ok." Miranda kissed Dani on the cheek which made Dani giggle.

Miranda buckled Dani up in her car seat then car. Ben was sitting waiting for her. "Are you ready."
"Yep." Miranda said smiling.
Ben pulled out of the parking lot of the hotel and headed to their new house.

Ben and Miranda went hunt shopping a week after the fire, and found a house on the second day. They wanted to find a home that was fit for them. It was a 5 bedroom 4.5 bathroom house. With a gym, office, and a movie room. It had a beautiful backyard where they could have parties and cookouts. Miranda fell in love with it instantly.

"Did you call the movers and tell them what time to meet us at the house?" Miranda asked breaking the silence looking over at Ben.
"Yes I did." Ben said sweetly glancing over at Miranda.
"Stop looking at me like that." Miranda said hitting his chest.
"Like what?"
"Like-." Miranda paused looking back at Dani who was asleep, "like you want to get inside of me."
"I do baby, we haven't had sex in almost 3 months Miranda. I miss you."
"Benjamin." Miranda said sternly making Ben laugh.

The rest of the car ride was silent.
As they approached their new house Miranda's face lit up. She was in love with her new house, and to be honest she's been wanting to move for a while. The fire just sped up the process. The movers where already there unloading all of their furniture.

Miranda grabbed Dani out of her car seat and walked into the house. Dani started to wake and looked around seeing that they were in an unfamiliar house. Miranda stood Dani up on the floor. She started running around the empty living room which made Miranda smile.
Ben came in and stood behind Miranda who was admiring their new house. "Miranda you've seen this house five times everything is still the same."
"I know but it's different when it's yours." Miranda explained.
"Mhmm." Ben said as if he understood.

The movers finished bringing all do the furniture into the house. It was dark outside , and Ben and Miranda didn't feel like going back out to get food so they just ordered pizza.
Once they finished eating Miranda got Dani ready for bed.
"Good night sweetie." Miranda said kissing Danis head as she tucked her in.
"Good night mama."

Miranda walked into her bedroom and heard the Shower running which meant that Ben was taking a shower. She waited until she heard the shower turn off before she walked in. "I just got out the." Ben sighed as Miranda walked into the bathroom.
"I know. I was waiting." Miranda said with a slight smile.
"Oh so you're messing with me now?"
"Maybe."
"Oh, you'll be sorry about that." Ben said as he walked out the bathroom.

Miranda showered, brushed her teeth, and lotion herself before walking into the main bedroom. Ben was laying on the bed as if he was waiting for her to come out, which he was. Ben started licking his lips as he started at Miranda in her nigh gown. "Who are you trying to look good for?" Ben said as he walked towards Miranda.
"No one Benjamin i'm just trying to go to bed." Miranda said as he walked passed Ben trying not to give him the satisfaction he wanted.
"Come one baby, I want you."
"Mmm." Miranda groaned as she laid in the bed.
Ben slid in the bed beside her. He started rubbing her thigh, and heard her let out a small moan.
"Benjaminnn!" Miranda turned over on her back.
"Come on Miranda." Ben pleaded.
"You just got back to sleeping through the night." Miranda laughed as Ben stared at her with no emotion,"let's just start slow, ok?"
"Fine Miranda."
"I love you."
"I love you too." Ben kissed Miranda passionately before turning off the lights.

"They were both getting comfortable when they heard small foot steps towards their room. Miranda got up clicking the light on and seeing Dani standing at the door. "Aww baby you couldn't sleep." Miranda said picking her up and walking back towards the bed.
Dani shook her head with sleep in her eyes.
Miranda laid Dani in between her and Ben.
Ben wrapped his arm around Miranda and Dani, kissing them both on the top of their heads. Ben smiled at the sight of his small family.
They all drifted to sleep together, in their new house happy, and that's all that mattered.
