Remember when we first met You said 'light my cigarette' So I lied to my mom and dad I jumped the fence and I ran.
Yeonjun still remembers when they first met.
It was after his boyfriend had just dumped him and left him at some crappy ass bar.
Just as crappy as he was apparently.
Yeonjun wasn't sad. He was pissed. Leading him to stomp down some random alley whenever he was walking home and running into Soobin. A stranger at the time.
Yeonjun was terrified. Who wouldn't be scared of a tall intimidating male in a dark alley.
"No need to be scared doll. I'm not gonna hurt you." The stranger chuckles.
"H-how do I know that?" Yeonjun asks, stomach starting to churn.
"Don't be so uptight. You wanna smoke?" The stranger asks, pulling out a cigarette from his pocket.
"I'm fine." Yeonjun mumbles, crossing his arms as the guy obviously checked him out.
"Well you got a lighter?" He asks.
Yeonjun just nods his head hesitantly.
"Light it for me will ya?"
"Sure stranger." Yeonjun chuckles. More to himself than anyone else. Why hasn't he ran for his life yet?
"Names Soobin, by the way stranger." Soobin says before putting the cigarette between his lips.
"Yeonjun." Yeonjun smiles as he puts the lighter to the cigarette.
"Thanks Yeonjun." Soobin smiles and Yeonjun thinks he fell in love right then and there.
Maybe it was just the dimples or maybe it was just Soobin.
He'll probably never know.
"Wanna get out of here?" Soobin whispers in Yeonjun's ear blowing a puff of smoke to it.
"S-sure. But I need to text my parents... they'll get worried otherwise." Yeonjun says shyly.
"You still live at home?" Soobin asks.
"Yeah... I'm still in college so I thought why not." Yeonjun shrugs, very aware of Soobin's hand touching his.
"That's nice. I live on my own. Parents are shit." Soobin chuckles.
"That must suck." Yeonjun pouts. He couldn't imagine not having parents who cared for him.
"Don't be. Better off on my own anyways." Soobin says before grabbing Yeonjun's hand and pulling him out the alley and towards the road.
"What did you tell them anyways?" Soobin asks as they get closer and closer to the parking lot.
"I told them I was staying with my friend Beomgyu cause my ex ditched me." Yeonjun says.
