Completely exhausted and emotionally spent, Freya ends up sleeping through the night and late into the next evening. Most of her rest is completely peaceful. But, in the remaining hours of her slumber, she tosses and turns restlessly when she begins to dream.

Freya sees Wanda standing before her in her Avengers uniform with some sort of barrier behind her. She has a clear expression of anger on her face. Freya can see a mysterious mass of green dots scattered across Wanda's chest over her heart. And she's holding an orb of her scarlet energy in her right hand. But, she's not focused on Freya.
"Wanda, please..." Freya softly begs. Wanda's eyes avert to her and her expression softens. "Please, just talk to me. Let me help you. Tell me what you want."
"I have what I want," Wanda quietly replies. She looks past Freya and an expression of pure hatred adorns her face. "And no one... will ever take it from me, again," she informs the person behind Freya venomously.
The dream seems to glitch. Wanda's expression becomes neutral and she freezes in place. The orb in her hand extinguishes and she shifts her attention back to Freya again. Suddenly, all of the color drains from everything. Leaving the dream in only black and white. Wanda's eyes begin to glow, now the only color visible. She tilts her head at Freya. But it's not threatening. She looks... curious.
"Stay away, Freya," Wanda warns. Her eyes glow brighter before a wave of her scarlet energy rushes out toward Freya.

Freya sits up in bed with a gasp. She places a hand over her heart and takes a deep, calming breath to slow its beating.
"Doll?" Steve asks as he mentally reaches out to her. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," she sighs back. "Just a bad dream."
"...A bad dream or the other thing?" he asks hesitantly.
"I think the other thing..."
"I'll be right there."
Freya sighs and looks around at her and Steve's bedroom while she waits for him to come upstairs. Her eyes pause at the window. She notices no light seeping through the partially closed curtains. Grabbing her cellphone off the nightstand to check the time, her eyes widen when she sees how long she actually slept. She looks up when the bedroom door opens and finds Steve standing in the doorway.
"Why'd you let me sleep for so long?" Freya asks while she rubs the sleep out of her eyes.
"Because you needed it. You were absolutely exhausted, Frey," Steve tells her. He makes his way over to the bed and sits next to her. "How do you feel?"
"Better, actually," she nods after a moment and lets out a relieved sigh. "You're right, I did need that. Thank you, Spangles."
"Of course, Doll," he smiles. He leans down and presses a sweet kiss to her lips with a content hum. "I love you," he whispers against her lips. She presses a gentle peck to his lips in response.
"And I love you," she smiles up at him. He notices a small crease between her eyebrows and studies her. Gently brushing a strand of hair out of her face he tucks it behind her ear.
"What'd you see?" he asks softly.
Freya lets out a tired groan and flops back on the bed. Her face disappears when she pulls the covers over her head and lets out a muffled "ugh". Steve chuckles and kicks off his shoes before climbing under the covers next to her. When he pulls the covers away from her face, she turns on her side to face him. He reaches out and easily pulls her to him. She rests her forehead against his chest and sighs.
