Freya is watching Wanda have a heart to heart with her kids while the retro Stark drone is deployed. It isn't until when Hayward's voice cuts through her concentration on the show that she finally turns to face him and Monica.
"I know this is tech from the 80's, but can we sharpen the visuals?" Hayward asks.
"Do you hear yourself?" Freya asks him. Which he only ignores.
"Workin' on it," Monica rolls her eyes as she remotely flies the drone.
Freya walks up behind Monica and stands next to Hayward to watch. Her eyes are trained on the black and white feed as the drone flies past the Westview water tower. The screen displays "weak signal" as the message continuously flashes at the top of the screen. They finally see Wanda and Vision's home come into view just as Wanda and her kids are walking outside. There's a momentary flicker of confusion and curiosity that crosses Freya's mind for a second. It's brief, but it's not a mind that she's felt before. And it's a young person. It makes Freya extremely confused herself, but she refocuses on the screen.
"Maximoff located," Monica announces.
"Well done," Hayward nods. He looks past Freya at another agent before glancing at her and focusing back on the screen. Freya doesn't miss this and narrows her eyes at him.
"We can't see the drone on the broadcast," Jimmy tells them.
"Yeah, Wanda's framing it out of the shot," Steve confirms.
"Just like all the jump cuts," Darcy adds. "Wanda decides what makes it on to her show and what doesn't."
"And here we go," Hayward sighs when Monica flies in close. He sends her a nod. "You're up."
"Wanda, this is Captain Monica Rambeau," Monica announces into her mic. "Can you hear me?"
Freya suddenly gets a sinking feeling in her stomach and instantly goes on edge. She looks up at Steve and already finds him watching her. He sends her a questioning look and she only nods in response. He frowns at her answer and goes back to watching the drone feed. Freya does the same as she turns back to Monica while Wanda and her kids just stare at the drone.
"I just wanna talk. That's it," Monica tries to reason with Wanda. That doesn't happen, because Wanda's eyes begin to glow as she tilts her head threateningly. Her scarlet red eyes being the only color on the black and white feed.
"No joy," Hayward says.
"Get out of there, Mon," Freya directs. "You're just gonna piss her off."
"Copy that," Monica acknowledges. She starts to steer the drone away, but nothing happens. "Uh..." Monica presses buttons as alerts start to beep on her console. "Wait, my controls aren't working. Reconnect patch," she requests to another agent.
"Disregard," Hayward counters. "Take the shot."
"Wait, what?" Freya asks.
"No. The drone isn't armed," Monica shakes her head in confusion.
"Take the shot," Hayward repeats.
Another agent complies and there's a large boom as the feed goes dark. The screens displaying the sitcom all revert to the "Please Stand By" message. Monica yanks her headset off and stands to face the Director.
"What did you do?" Monica asks.
"What the fuck!" Freya roars, her voice already distorted. Her eyes and aura ignite in anger. She charges Hayward and backs him into a corner. He goes to reach for his gun, but Freya flicks her hand and his own flies up to punch himself in the face. He lets out a grunt of pain before narrowing his eyes at her when his back hits the wall behind him. "What did you think was gonna happen?!" Freya yells. "This is Wanda! She created the Hex! So don't you think she can stop a missile?! Are you only trying to piss her off?!"
