Freya watches Agatha and Wanda fly into the air above them. Dark scarlet storm clouds begin to roll in and swirl in the air around them while thunder rolls. She trains her hearing on the fight to figure out what's happening.
"Take it!" Wanda growls. She winds up and throws a ball of energy directly at Agatha. Who just absorbs it. "I don't want it!" Wanda tells her before charging the witch.
"Watch the boys," Vision tells Freya before flying off toward Wanda to help. Freya nods as she watches him go and pulls the twins to her. Steve winds an arm around Freya's shoulders in comfort. Sensing her anxious disposition. As Vision closes in on his wife, who throws another ball of energy at Agatha, she turns and immediately casts a barrier at Vision to push him away. "Wanda, what are you doing?!" Vision cries out. She pushes him back to the ground, where he wraps his boys in a hug.
"Come on, Wanda!" Agatha taunts.
Wanda responds by throwing another ball of her scarlet energy. It completely misses Agatha, though and collides with the walls of the Hex. Agatha turns back to Wanda and gives her a confused look. Wanda just continues to throw ball of energy after ball of energy at Agatha. Who only absorbs every single one that hits her. The rest go rocketing by when Wanda keeps missing. Freya tilts her head curiously and narrows her eyes. Wanda looks exhausted, but her energy signature seems to only be getting stronger. Agatha cackles, taunting Wanda more as she continues to throw energy at the witch. Wanda pauses for a moment to catch her breath, but Agatha isn't having it.
"Come on, Wanda! Escape your fate!" Agatha yells.
Wanda responds by gasping out and throwing another ball of energy. It completely misses Agatha again and makes contact with the Hex's barrier. Another ball is thrown that only ends up hitting the barrier. Freya shakes her head as she watches.
"Wanda's up to something," she tells everyone.
"Is she okay?" Vision asks worriedly.
"I think so," Freya says hesitantly. The odd feeling in her stomach stirring.
Wanda lets out a yell as she continues her bombardment. Her throws are getting extremely sloppy and she seems to be hitting the barrier more than Agatha.
"Release your burden!" Agatha encourages her. Wanda winds up and throws a large ball of energy, hitting Agatha right in the chest. The witch grunts before absorbing the energy once more. "There's more. I want it all!" Wanda's skin is beginning to rapidly age. Signifying the power that Agatha is draining. Wanda heaves breathlessly before throwing a flurry of energy at Agatha. Most hit their mark. Agatha responds by greedily pulling the energy forcefully from Wanda now. Wanda cries out while the witch laughs maniacally. She seems to absorb everything from Wanda. Who just floats in mid air motionlessly.
"Wanda!" Vision cries out.
"Mom!" the twins yell.
"Shh, it's okay," Freya soothes them quietly. "Just wait. I have a feeling. Okay?"
Vision and his sons both silently nod and go back to staring intently at Wanda. Thunder rolls ominously in the background. Seemingly signaling a build up of some sorts. The scarlet red storm clouds continue to swirl and darken everything around them.
"About our deal..." Agatha begins quietly. Freya has to train her ears closely to even hear what's being said. "Once cast, a spell can never be changed. This world you made will always be broken," Agatha reveals to Wanda. "Just... like... you..." She points at Wanda before waving her hands in front of her to cast a spell. But all that happens is a dim glow of her purple magic. Then nothing. Agatha tries again, but not even a spark of color is seen this time.
