Liz's POV
"Anyway, my Mom will probably be here soon to pick me up, cause it's almost noon. I'm gonna go pack my stuff real quick, brb." Sophie nodded before I turned and walked into her room.
I started by picking up a blanket and folded it into a smooth square. When I finished I discarded it on Sophie's bed, and decided to clean the whole entire room. besides, it would take my mind off the whole necklace situation.
After I had done my best to organize and put everything back the way I saw it when I first arrived, I looked around the room with a grin on my face. At least I had done something to help Sophie out other than be such an egg head for losing the Necklace.
At that moment Sophie came into the room, and looked around at the work she had done. "I thought you were packing ur stuff? Not clean the whole room." She said playfully. "Yeah, I guess I got carried away-" I couldn't help but smile.
Cleaning always lifted my spirits and made me feel better, because it took my mind off of my problems and helped me think more clearly.
"Well you did a great job. It looks as if it's the same way I cleaned the room before everyone arrived."
"I tried my best to make it seem that way."
"So, you'll meet up with me and Mary tomorrow after school, right? So then we can go confront Clara at her house together."
"Yeah, but we should probably try to probe...not like ask her straight on, just kinda try to get hints, ya know?"
"Yeah, that's probably a good idea, I'll make sure I write a list of questions." Sophie opened a dour and took out a small notebook that she probably was gonna use for the questions.
"You, have any questions that you want me to write down?"
"I don't know of any questions that I would have for her right now, but I'll text u if I get any." At the sound of a car pulling up on Sophie's driveway I grabbed my bag and headed for the door.
Sophie trailed behind her, and wrote a couple things down, before setting them down and giving her a hug.
"We will find that Necklace, so keep ur hopes high. You got it?" Sophie said with a soft but reassuring voice.
"Loud and clear." I squeezed her in a tight hug before turning and leaving the house.
We would find that Necklace, I was sure of it.
