I blink rain from my eyes as I crouch on the edge of the rooftop. For once I actually wish I had my bag. At least the water would soak that before it hit my eyes. Six crouched at my side as we waited for the signal. She gripped the handle of her new blade her expression focused. She's seriously distracting when she's all tough like this...like damn. Anyways enough oogling for now- .

I adjusted the hammer in my belt and went over the plan again. Six and I wait for Two and Four to draw the group of viewers below us away. Then we ride the power lines down the building a little ways away. Wait for them to join us and once they do we'll move in to pase two.

We were newly equiped with weapons and had thick rubber wrappings to cover our feet. Couldn't risk getting our foot hurt when out here. Six had chose a thin slice of metal that was light enough to let her move fast and was deadly sharp. After seeing her handle the bully at the school however I doubted she'd need anything but her hands.

I chose a hammer for easy access through doors that can be broken. And I liked swinging it. A bright kid named Charlie made everything and despite his young age he was wicked smart. He was taken when he was a baby and knows nothing more than what he's seen. I feel bad for him...he did seem to like Six though. Remembering the way she awkwardly let the boy lead her around and show her his projects made me chuckle.

"What?" Six looked at me with a raised brow. I attempted to stop laughing.

" Oh nothing nothing...." She kept looking at me. Jeez she could kill with a look if she wanted too. The sound of a scream made us both jump and we looked down to find the hoard chasing after what could only be our companions.

"Let's go" Six said and in one quick movement jumped up and grabbed the bar riding the wire down to the next rooftop. I did the same, not as gracefully but I did it. We continued this riding and rooftop running till we reached the last building. I landed next to Six. She was already watching for our friends. I was breathing hard still somehow not used to running so long.

"I don't know...how you manage this...." I panted. She shrugged smiling. I stepped up beside her and she took my hand. We said nothing. We didn't need too. I felt her thumb trace circles on the back of my hand.

"Hey love birds we made it" Four called out. We turned to see them glide down.

" Ok those static heads should be gone for a while but we best move fast" Two said Leading the way. They had spotted the corruption prowling around over the wreckage of some old high-rises. As we grew closer I could hear it. A raspy growl that sounded like sandpaper on concrete. We ran into several mutilated body's and the closer we got the more there were.

We came to a hole with a view of the wreckage and carnage. It seems our friend had an early dinner. We crouched near the hole of the building and watched. I didn't know what to expect but what I did see definitely wasn't it. A giant pulsating monster with glitching tentacles writhing about on it's back. As it turned and walked around I could see three blood red eyes searching and multiple mouths full of shark teeth.
