The rain fell harder today then it ever had. Although it was mid day the city was cast in dark shadows. Even with her rain coat tight around her, Six still felt a deep cold emptiness. She watched the ground from the window of an old apartment. It was full of broken furniture and dusty old clothes. Behind her Seven, Two, Four, and Taylor were busy going over the plan again.
"Our first priority is finding Mono. Once we do that everything else comes last." Seven said as he looked at everyone in turn. He new Six was anxious to leave but he also knew it was too dangerous to run in without a plan. So despite her irritation he persuaded her to at least let them debrief before they proceeded.
Four and Two had offered to come on the rescue mission feeling the need to help their new friend. Although they had quite a few, Mono was kind and helpful, doing quite a bit in his short time underground. They also hated seeing Six so torn. They hadn't known her long but like Mono she was quite helpful.
Taylor felt horrible. He had apologize to Six and promised to do what it took to help her get Mono back. He knew that their plan was a long shot but had to do something. And maybe he could find answers to his own past in the process, because like all things in this city he was attached to that tower.
"We have to be careful. Now that the Corruption has what it wants the tower will be unstable as he attempts to break Mono.." Taylor glanced at Six. She could feel eyes on her as she looked out into the rain.
"Mono's strong...he's not going to break easily." She said softly. She had to believe that, for Mono's sake as much as her own. Turning from the window to face her friends she looked at them feeling something in her chest she hadn't in a while.
"I.....just want to say thank you..for doing this...and..that if we don't make it through this..." She stopped feeling a lump in her throat. God sence when did she get so emotional?
The others looked at her each with their own level of emotion, and Two went to Sixes side hugging her. Six allowed this, and even smiled a bit as Four, Seven, and Taylor took their respective places by her side. They stayed that way for a moment, drawing a sort of strength from each other. They separated and got their gear before heading through a series of ventilation systems and into the rain.

That buzzing sound still hasn't stopped. I feel like I might go crazy. I feel like crying but I've cried all I can. Im starting to feel things crawling on my skin like spiders. When I manage to open my eyes all I see is that ever looming darkness beyond my chair.
The doctor comes in with his mannequins every once in a while to see if I still breath. I know they want to break me, and I'm trying to stay strong but....I'm not sure how much longer I can last.
There are things in my room. Big, much bigger than the monster I fought....I don't remember how long ago, and I can hear them around me. The only times I find relief is when my body is too tired to resist sleep and I pass out on that old wooden chair.
My dreams are strange. I always hear the faint buzzing but it's not as bad. It's usually a mix of dim glowing colors fluttering about till my eyes open and I'm thrown back into my unending torture.
