She Didn't Let Go

Ok this took a while because I had school and life was busy but here it's finally done.

Im at a lost for words over 1k reads 130 votes I'm about to freak out. I can't believe the positivity and kindness you guys have shown me and I can't thank you enough.

Those of you in discord have serious problems 😂😂 but I love you guys. Anyways enough of that and please enjoy 😄

"Why are you running?"

"You know there's no use."

"You want to protect them..don't you?"

"You want to be a little hero."

"You know you're nothing...just a poor scared little boy pushing away those he loves because he's a COWARD."

I jolt awake from where I leaned against the wall of the sewer. It was silent except for the dripping of distant water and the wind winding through the streets. It's words still played in my mind and I wondered if maybe... maybe it was right...

No..no it's not right I'm no coward! But..maybe I am..if I'm the only one who can stop this and I'm running away well then what else could I BE but a coward. I suddenly felt completely alone. The fact that Six wasn't there beside me hurt much less than the fact it was my fault. What the hell was I thinking?!

I stood up. My body was stiff from being in one position for so long and I started to head back towards the hideout when I heard a thump.
I stopped and listened hearing it again. It was coming from outside the grate. I went back to the edge quietly and followed the sound out. This was obviously stupid but I wasn't thinking.

I seemed to be doing that a lot. I followed the noise and it led me to a ally a few blocks away. I crouched near a box of shoes (why was this here I have no clue) and saw a mannequin thumping about. What the...how did it get here?

I watched it for a bit not hearing the other closing in behind me till it was too late. It grabbed me, it's cold metal fingers gripping me like a vase.

"No! LET ME GO NO!"

I struggled against it. But to no avail. It carried me into the street as it's friend followed. I looked around frantically hoping to find something.. anything to help me but instead I saw something worse. A giant figure clad in dirty white fatigues crawled in my direction. I watched in growing horror as I remembered the Doctor.

I should have burned him when I had the chance, but seeing the way he tried so hard to save the creature whose life support I turned off...I couldn't bring myself to pull the lever. Now however I wanted to rewind and kill him myself.

The disgusting excuse for a doctor crawled on the side of the building and stopped in front of his plastic minions.

"Well look at you" His voice was a gurgling mix of mucus and spit.

"You missed your check up." I could almost smell him from here. "Don't worry kid I'll take good care of you"

He clicked his tongue and his minions followed him as he crawled along the buildings. I noticed a familiar red eye attached to his neck as he crawled away.  I was growing tired of fighting and finally stopped. That was untill I saw where he was taking me. The tower loomed in front of us, it's glowing red signal dark.

I felt panic rising and tried even more desperately to get away. I pulled at the metallic hands holding me till my fingertips bled but even then I didn't stop.
