"So, you're Izumura then?" The cigarette hung loosely in his mouth. He brought his hand up to take a drag, peering thoughtfully at me.
"I take it you're Giran then," I replied.
"That would be me," we shared a long look before Dabi interrupted us.
"How much longer are we supposed to wait?" He huffed.
Giran glanced at his watch, signing. We were supposed to meet someone else before going to see the league. Apparently, a girl around my age named Toga. However, she was meant to show up ten minutes ago. My current company wasn't people you would want to keep waiting. The amount of times Dabi kicked my ass for being late was uncountable.
Out of nowhere, a soft tone floated down the alley as a girl skipped in. She did a small twirl, humming as she got up and personal with everyone. Dabi pushed off the wall, igniting his flames in warning.
"No need to get so upset mister," she flashed a smile, eyes lit with mischief.
"You two, this is Toga," Giran proceeded to point at the girl who waved. "Now that we are all here, we can finally go."
"I can't wait!" Toga jumped up and down excitedly as she followed Giran.
He led us down a few twists and turns before arriving in front of an underground bar. I could feel Dabi's gaze shift to me as we approached the building. I wasn't particularly happy that this is where we were meeting the league, but it was no time to let my preferences get in the way. The door was unmarked and unnoticeable. Giran knocked a few times before swinging it open. Two people awaited on the other side. Both Shigaraki and Kurogiri were around a bar. It was a relatively simple set up with brick walling and a few tables.
"So, you found some people I see," Shigaraki's said, voice sounding as if it had been put through a grater.
"Well, I have been spreading the word quite a bit recently," Giran replied.
"You are much uglier in person," Dabi said, not bothering to keep it to himself.
"That wasn't nice," I muttered, jabbing him in the side. They were our hosts after all, there was no need to get on their bad side the moment we arrived.
"You know Mr. Stain, Handsy?" Toga bounced around the place, touching everything. "Let me join our league of villains!"
Shigriaki's face scrunched into what I presumed was a scowl, with the hand on his face I could quite make out what he looked like. Toga's reference wad quite accurate, I'll give her that.
"What great recruits, two brats and an ill-mannered guy," his aura was anything but welcoming. "Warp them away or something, Kurogiri"
"Come now, you should at least hear them out. They were found by quite a high-end broker after all," Kurogiri offered.
"Look, I'm just here for the money so hand me my finder's fee will you, Kurogiri?" Giran held out his hand expectantly.
"For now, let's just start with the introductions," Kurogiri replied. Although he did hand a large sum of cash to the broker.
"I'm Toga! Himiko Toga!" She stepped forwards excitedly. "Let me join, I really really want to kill Mr. Stainy!"
"What kind of freak are you?" Shigaraki sighed.
"Her quirk is transform. She can imitate anyone if she consumes some of their blood." Giran explained. "Her name and face are kept under wraps by the media, but she was involved in many murders by bloodletting."
Giran then proceeded to tell them what he knew about Dabi. He explained his cremation quirk and how he would be a powerful ally to the league.
"The name's Dabi and I plan to make the hero killer's will a reality," he stated bluntly, leaving much unsaid.
