The smoke was suffocating at this point. In all this time, the cobalt flames had only gotten stronger, eating away at whatever they touched. I was really sweating buckets here. It had only been a matter of minutes since my fight with All Might, but I was right back into the action. Shigaraki had directed me to ground beta, a sight filled with various structures, probably for the purpose of train heroes to fight within the city environment. I got to hand it to them, U.A sure knows what they're doing. Of course, they weren't really fulfilling that right now. Despite being outnumbered, and injured from my previous fights, I was still holding my own against several of the teachers. To be fair, they were mainly focusing on protecting the students instead of me. I landed another kick that sent the pro tumbling to the ground.
"Who's next?" I asked, turning to the remaining three teachers.
"We are," several voices responded from behind.
The students the pros had tried so hard to keep out of this fight had decided to step in on their own accord. Great, now I was really outnumbered.
The battle was over in a matter of moments. They were just a bunch of first years from the hero course. One of them did manage to get the jump on me though. Her quirk must have been something gravity related because when she touched me, I was suddenly floating off the ground. Luckily, I had just the quirk to get me grounded again, all thanks to her classmate that I had taken down earlier. Judging on the way she kept her hands clasped together, I guessed that that was how she maintained her quirk. To solve this, I shot a glop of acid at her. If she didn't want to get burned, she would have to dodge this, and it was much harder to dodge something this big when you can't use your hands. As to be expected, she released her quirk, sending me tumbling to the ground. To slow down my fall, I grabbed onto a streetlight. Using the nearest weapon, I could find, which so happened to be a severed pole. With a single upward slash, I used the pole and drove it into the girl's face. That kind of wound would likely leave a pretty nasty permanent scar, that is if she didn't bleed out. Now, it was time to move on to the rest of them.

When I came to again, there was this soft, tingle presence running through my body. It was nice. A firm pressure was pressed to my abdomen, the source of this warm, wonderful thing. The pain was still there but muted by that nice feeling. Strangely, I felt restless despite this soothing feeling flowing throughout my body. Something had happened, I think, but what exactly? Again, I found my consciousness fading away, taking all feeling with it.

"Deku!" from just behind, the person I was least hoping to see appeared.
He had an arm around the brunette girl, pushing her back to the other students.
"What the fuck are you doing!" he shouted, gesturing to people around him.
"Since when have you cared about anyone but yourself?"
"These are my idiots, and only I am about to mess with them," he said.
I scoffed at that. How could these weak wannabes ever come to impress Bakugo? Where was this Bakugo in middle school? He's gone soft.
"This is between you and me, so leave the others out of it,"
"As you wish, Kacchan," I sneered.
I started off, beckoning him to follow. I led me several blocks away to a part of the ground that was unoccupied by the league and heroes alike. Even the blaze of Dabi's power hadn't reached this far yet. A little ways away, a few of the students had followed us. I recognised them from the night of All for One's defeat. I guess that was only two days ago. I swear I saw sparks of recognition flash in their eyes as I turned to face them.
