Austin point of view:

Wonder whats taking hem so long... Rin and Alyssa left a couple hours ago. Where the heck are they? I turned to the fire that I had managed to make and shuddered as I stared deeply into the flickering flames. It was really eerie and made me really jumpy.

" hey Austin! Where's Rin? I haven't seen her in awhile.." Jasper asked me his kind face lined in concern. " Im getting kind of worried about her actually"

Damn. Those two sentences really got on my nerves. What the hell is wrong with me? Jasper was just worried bout her, so what?

" she went to go wash up with Alyssa at the little river," I said smoothly, hiding my irritation.

" you let them go alone?" Jasper asked incredulously. " who knows what could be out there!"

" well I couldn't just go with them! They wanted privacy...." I trailed off and I was so freaking glad it was dark out. But Jas was right though I was so stupid!

" I'm gonna go look for them," Jasper stated running a hand through his hair, wordlessly Nick got up as Jas did.

" I will come as well, my little friend here can guard this tired fellow and camp," he said as he nodded to Matt and gestured toward Andy who had fallen asleep some minutes before.

" that's fine with me," Jasper said before I could answer. Who the Fu** did he think he was?

Rin, Rin where are you? Why did you just go off alone? You could have just waited till daylight, when It was safer! Oh God, Rin don't you dare be dead. We had searched all around the brooke. There wasn't any signe of her or Alyssa anywhere. Shit. Shit. Shit! I swiped away really hard at some vines and kicked away at the loose dirt. It was dark out and I could barely see.

" Arrghh!" I let out a frustrated roar. Oh Frick. I hope no one heard that. Who cares? I tore through more overgrown plants and shouted out Karinas name over and over. Please just answer me... My heart was thumping and racing and I wanted it to shut up. And despite the chilly air a couple beads of sweat slid down my nose.

" RIN!" I shouted, " RIN!" I wanted to scream. I was scared shi*less. I know it wasn't manly of me but I truly was freaking terrified that she was hurt. Or worse. " RIN! Freaking answer me Rin! " I let a scream rip out my chest. I blindly ran into the wild life. I wouldn't have stopped if it wasn't for the shriek.

A bag of foul skin and bones stood in front of me with a dead body at it's feet. A girls body. I froze. Lost track of everything around me and just... Lost it I guess. I just ran at it. Yup just ran at it and pulled out a small metal pole and pushed a button. With clicks and snaps and some crunches it turned into a useful weapon. I shouted in rage and raised my scythe into the air and smiled savagely as it whipped through the air and sliced off the nasty head of the monster. I kneeled beside the dead human. And I saw that it's head head had fallen off which was why it wasn't a zombie either. I wiped some blood off it's face and relief flooded through me as I saw a strangers face. I shut the little girls eyes and whispered her a prayer. Poor girl.

" Austin! We heard your voice yell, are you alright?" Jasper scared the crap out of me as his voice rang suddenly through the silence. " Nick and I came as fast as we could."

" Nahh it's alright, there was a zombie but I took care of it." I muttered, drained emotionally.

" well I hope you enjoyed yelling... Cuz we have company," Nick said solemnly and tilted his head behind me and when I turned... I saw that he was right.

Did u like????? I hope u did! Sorry for not uploading this sooner but I was really busy, kind of. We had an awesome dance a couple days ago, then I went to the movies. And last week I took the SSAT test for hiskool. I hope Austin seemed manly enough for u guys cuz I'm not that good at writing in a guys poi t of view lol. But thanX for reading.
