Who Sent The Dead Among Us?

Chapter 3

" hi I'm Karina," I said smiling as Andrew introduced one of his friends that he had found as we waited in the line. We've been waiting for around thirty minutes, because to get into the protected part of the city we had to wait as some people recorded our names and other things like that. It was almost our turn.

" nice to meet you, I'm Jasper," he said. He turned to Andy and I looked him over as they talked. He was average height, had unruly dark hair, caramel eyes, and he looked strong and tough. We could certainly use him. Andrew like him and he seemed like a good guy.

" may I have your name please?" a kind looking old man asked.

" I'm Karina Cole," I answered. I smiled as someone else took a really quick photo.

" Age? And grade?"

" I'm 16 and I'm in 11 grade," I answered. " what did my age have to do with anything?

" Do you have any knowledge of any martial arts?"

" no sorry" I said embarrassed, I understood that one at least.

" favored weapon? Date of birth? Any talents or skills?"

" dagger, august 12 and I can make some medicines, I have good memory and I can run." I stated

" I see , now go on in, someone will attend to you," the old man waved me on to the section of wall that was open. I saw Andrew answering some questions and I entered the city. I saw groups of people huddled up together casting out wary glances. I scanned the crowds and a grin spread across my face.

" Alice!" I yelled and ran to a short redheaded girl.

" Rin!" she shrieked, " I'm so glad your here!" we ran into a tight hug.

" do you know if Danny made it?" I asked worriedly. Danny was our other best friend.

" yeah he's here, he went to go look for this family. Because he wasn't with them when this started." Alyssa said nervously. " I hope they're all alright."

" what about you're family?" I asked. But I regretted it. My friends face went tight and pale.

" I don't want to talk about it." she whispered, her fists clenched tight. Luckily I didn't have to answer, because just then Andrew and Jasper came up to us with a youngish looking woman.

" hi I'm Judy and I will be your informant of everything that goes on around here. And now I'll show you to your apartment." Judy said smiling at the boys widely. She wore tight booty shorts and a v- neck tank top that showed a lot of her cleavage, she batted her fake eyelashes and tossed her hair.

I exchanged a disgusted look with Alyssa and I was relieved to see her looking more relaxed and amused. " will you be staying with us?" I asked hopefully. "Andrew won't mind." she nodded in agreement. So we all followed Judy to the place we were staying for the time being.

We went inside. The apartment was small but cozy and we were all so happy to have a real bed. Judy finally left with a last hair flip, thank God. We hid all our goods and with a thankful heart we all went to sleep.

------ sorry there wasn't much action or blood in this chapter I couldn't find a way to fit it in. There will be a bit o romance and much more action in the next chapter! Please comment XD AND PLEASE FAN PLEASE!!!!!! I only have two and I feel like a fail and a loser. )': but thanks for reading
