Who Sent The Dead Among Us?

Chapter 7

We have been in the city for three says now and we drove away the undead 4 times. Even though we told the woman we wanted no part in it she keeps dragging us in. I really hate it. The blood the organs. I hate all of it, I wish this would end soon but staying in this city isn't going to stop it.

" Andrew?" I asked softly. " I don't want to stay here anymore," I was laying on the wooded floor of our apartment. It was night and everyone else was asleep except for me and my cousin.

" I'm starting to think we should leave too," Andrew said quietly to me.

" I want to leave Andy," I pleaded. I really hated being forced to fight. I hated it enough that I wanted to leave this place with lots of food and water And electricity. I hated that woman.

" we should set out by ourselves," I said. " Jasper could come with." and maybe Austin too.

" we came here to group up, remember?" my cousin sighed, " I'll ask Jas tomorrow and you can ask whoever you want to come with us. As long as he or she is able to defend themselves."

" so no Alyssa?" I asked. I didn't feel anything by that. She was one of my bestfriends but she's deadweight. She wouldn't be able to defend herself. Shed probably get killed while everyone else was fighting. I sighed deeply, I didn't want her to come with us but how could I say no to her?

" Andrew? I'm glad you're here with me," I said suddenly feeling emotional.

" I'm happy to be with you too " he said warmly. With that I fell into a troubled sleep.

" rise and shine! Cousin," Andrew shook me gently awake, and I got up blinking the sleep from my eyes and yawning.

" I got a whole bunch of canned and dried food," he said quickly and threw a bulging heavy back pack at me. I caught it but crumpled over at it's weight.

" Jasper said he wanted to come and that he was sick of delilah as much as we were." Andy informed me. " you bringing Austin or what?"

" I'll go tell him were leaving," I said and left the apartment to find him. I darted from shadow to shadow not wanting to be seen. I soon spotted my friend with-. I stopped still. He was with Alyssa. I turned away feeling embarrassed for some reason. I started walking as my face became hot.

" Rin! Where are you going?" Austins voice called making me stop. He grabbed my arm with one hand and forced my face to look at his with the other. His face was concerned and worried. " What's wrong? Did something happen?" he asked.

" No Ofcourse not," I reassured him, looking away from his piercing gaze.

" Your face says different, it says there's something going on," he replied stonily.

" I'm leaving"

" what?"

" me Andy and Jas are leaving soon, I just wanted to say goodbye," I murmured softly, pulling away from his grip. He roughly pulled me back.

" you aren't leaving me," he growled into my ear. " We will not be separated again"

I shrugged helplessly, " Austin, I want to leave, I can't stand that Delilah woman."

" Neither can I, so let's go," as soon as I comprehended what he had said a warm pleasant feeling spread across my chest. But then I saw Alyssa coming toward us,

" what's going on Rin?" she asked.

" I'm leaving Lyss," I explained, " I don't like it here so I'm leaving."

" but Austin and I will miss you!" she cried out throwing her arms around me.

He cleared his throat. " actually I want to stay with Rin so I'm leaving too."

My friend stood their shocked, as if Austin was her husband and he had just told her he was in love with her bestfriend.

" let's get going Austin, Andy will get impatient," I said and turned my back on Alyssa.
