"okay what about 'if the tide takes california i'm so glad i got to hold ya' to start the chorus" corbyn suggested to the group.

the boys were currently in the studio working with ellie again coming up with some lyrics for the new song they were coming out with.

"i like that" ellie said writing it down. "who knew corbyn had such a romantic side to him"

"well he's like in love with arianna so it makes sense as to where these lyrics came from" zach said. "it's gross"

"shut up you're only saying that because you're single" jack rolled his eyes at the younger boy.

"arianna's your girlfriend right?" ellie asked as corbyn nodded in response.

"yeah the one he's obsessed with" jonah laughed. "he came home from their date last night with a plethora of lyrics in his head"

"mans finished a whole ass song which is just about her" daniel stated.

"wow you must really like her" ellie's eyes widened at him.

"more like love her but yeah" corbyn shrugged not really liking the attention on him. "now can we move on"

"no wait i want to learn more about you guys" ellie quickly debunked. "i mean if we're going to work together we might as well get to know each other as well"

"i mean she has a point, writing songs like this is a vulnerable process anyway" zach said.

"okay what do you want to know?" jack asked.

"we also get to learn stuff about you too" daniel pointed out as she nodded.

"yes of course, but do you all have girlfriends? or just corbyn" ellie questioned.

"no corbyn's the only one dating someone" daniel told her.

"daniel- you and franny are also together" corbyn furrowed his eyebrows at him.

daniel shook his head, "not officially"

"well stop being a pussy and ask her out already" jonah groaned. "i'm actually tired of y'all being in love but not doing anything about it, it's annoying"

"love? um no" daniel shook his head.

"um yes" jack argued. "y'all are just as obsessed with each other as corbyn and ari"

"what? huh?" corbyn asked looking up from his phone. "i heard my name"

"who are you texting right now corbyn?" zach asked the older boy.

"uh ari why?" corbyn explained putting his phone back in his pocket.

"and my point has been made" jack bowed as no one clapped for him.

"so you talk to your girlfriend while you're working all the time?" ellie asked corbyn.

"uh yeah she usually just texts me to ask me something or i text her" corbyn stated.

"huh. she knows your working though and still texts you?" ellie pried as corbyn slowly nodded getting confused. "that's a little rude"

"well- no" corbyn defended. "it's not rude at all actually, we just enjoy talking to each other so it doesn't matter"

"i mean i get it. i just wouldn't want someone interrupting me during work that's all" ellie shrugged.

"she's ari though so it's not like she's interrupting" jonah chimed in.

"yeah she could literally barge into a recording session and we'd stop the whole thing for her" zach voiced.

"oh well i'm not saying that it's a bad thing, i'm just saying how i am" ellie raised her eyebrows. "we are learning about each other remember?"

all of the boys slowly nodded mumbling different words in agreement looking at one another.

"let's just get back to writing" corbyn sighed as they all immediately agreed.
